I put this on my car to cover chrome trim. Did not require stretching. Worked as well as any vinyl I've used. But after 1 day in the sun, the clear gloss layer over the black vinyl wrinkled and clouded a bit. Garbage. Update: when I went to re-do the foggy vinyl, I realized that what had clouded was a clear protective layer, like a die-cut. Hmm. But the gloss underneath was still no good. The product came in a tight roll, and I had started with the bare edge. So I unrolled about a foot and worked with that material. About a week now, and it's holding up - maybe something happened to the outer layer on the roll? Anyway, updated to 4 stars, not 5 because I couldn't use all the material I purchased. ... show more

The wrap looks good, a nice deep black. Installation was standard, and it looked great. The problem came when there was something on it, and I scratched at it with my fingernail, and the black came off, leaving a white scrape mark. Not sure what I was seeing, I scratched at it again, and it left another white scratch. This was before heating it, so I replaced the piece and it was fine, but now I'm wondering how it will hold up over time. ... show more

I have a Lectric XP 2.0 e-bike and do not like the name plastered in large letters on the sides. This was an easy and awesome fix! Don't use the heat gun and make it permanent, just apply to a clean surface and the original is easily restored when you want to sell the bike later. Or you can change the color whenever you feel the need, I may go with the woody woodgrain next! ... show more

This stuff was so shiny I had to peel the clear piece off the top like you do with brand new stuff. It's really flexible too and easy to work with. So shiny I haven't seen many this shiny if any at all. I'll be grabbing some more the next time for sure
