This is a a good mug! It's pretty thick and feels sturdy. The "lid" really doesn't do much. I don't think it's sealed and it doesn't have any sort of gasket or anything for making the mug leak proof. It does work nicely as a coaster through! Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. It's the perfect size for a cup of tea in the evening.

They’re super cute, but can’t handle extremely hot liquids. One broke just having hot tea in it. The lids are nice. I wish the lid had a suction on it to keep it on though. Overall, they’re nice.

DO NOT USE FOR TEA/HOT WATER! This product description says that this glass can be used for many hot and cold beverages and can resist heat, but when I poured hot water into this glass for tea, the cup EXPLODED and hot water went all over me and glass went everywhere. I got a cut on my foot that was gushing blood from the glass exploding and I was still finding glass on my floor two days after. This glass mug is NOT heat resistant and is not for tea. The water was not even fully to a boil and the glass completely exploded. (Photos show bigger broken glass pieces collected after mug exploded.) Please be careful when using! Amazon needs to remove this product from the site as this is a major safety hazard and can cause harm & injury to their customers. I cannot imagine what would've happened if a child or pet was next to me when it happened. (I would've put 0 stars if I could because it is not sturdy, durable at all and is a major safety hazard and concern.)
