Our books love their new home. They'll never need another as this bookcase is large enough to accommodate seventy-five books on the top shelf and nearly as many of the lower shelf. Many of these books are hardcover. The bookcase itself is designed and engineered with structural integrity in mind. The whole bookshelf rests on seven "feet" that support the lower shelf . . . shelf sagging should never be an issue. The steel shelf dividers that separate each shelf into three distinct sections ( if so desired ) snap into position using four pins that spring compress and lodge into pre-drilled holes in the shelf . . . simple but effective so the divider's alignment is perfectly upright. Obviously made to support and strengthen the overhead shelves. The assembly is straightforward with an emphasis on following directions. The only suggestion: if you're attempting to do the assembly yourself, place two plastics square milk crates sold in most big-box stores under the shelf when screwing on the sides . . . otherwise the screw holes "will be destroyed" . . . as stated in the instructions. Also the instructions state not to fully tighten all bolts until all parts are in place. True, but the eight wood screws used to attach the sides to the shelves . . . I applied a coat of wood glue so they're less likely to loosen over time. Please with the purchase; the bookcase is promoted as industrial duty which appears to be the case.

I love how this turned out. The assembly was super easy, however my only complaint is that because the screws use an allen key it is a nightmare to connect the legs to the top shelf. Other than that small complaint, this has to be the fastest piece of furniture of ever assembled. The directions are super clear and specific. It was a lot sturdier than I expected and it hold all of my book series that I wanted to display. The color looks great, I got the dark gray. I love that it has holes in the back and sides for cords, my only complaint for the piece itself is that once you place the mesh dividers in, it seems there is no way to get them out. Other than that, I love this piece and am considering buying another one for my office.

I see how this can take 2 people to put together but was able to do it by myself. The annoying part was screwing the shelves in place (I guess that’s where a 2nd person comes in). You have to push both side of the shelves against the wall in order for the screw to bite in. I just used a wall and pushed it against it but overall, directions were clear and was able to put it together with no issues.

Well worth the money and would definitely purchase again from this seller! The package containing the bookcase arrived damaged - not through the fault of the seller but through the fault of the shipping company. The bookcase was damaged as well. I emailed the contact information that was included in my shipment and received a prompt reply requesting pics of damage, etc. so that we could work toward a solution. The customer service was outstanding. All communications were prompt, professional, and productive! Another important note: the bookcase itself is well built and sturdy. I am relatively handy but by no means a carpenter or builder - not even close! This bookshelf was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. All parts were clearly labeled in separately packaged bags so I was reassured that I was using the correct part and wouldn't lose parts. I had the entire bookcase put together in a short amount of time. So if you are like me and can follow super easy illustrated instructions and use basic tools (included screwdriver and allen wrench) you are all set! Excellent buy!
