This is the best thing I have bought all summer!! The first night it paid for itself multiple times over when I was able to sleep in peace with no bites! I was concerned at first that mosquitos would get in through the bottom or the side openings, but no need to worry, this net keeps them out! Also this net literally took one minute to hang, and the hook/ hanging set up allows you to adjust height so it fits different height ceilings really easily - super convenient! I was comparing a bunch of different nets, I landed between this net and another net with the same top count of holes available. The other net was called the best net on amazon - I'm guessing because it has one extra foot in the diameter - but that is so not true, this one is the best, and this net has plenty of extra net, and lots of convenient features! The protective skirt at the bottom (That this net has and that the other comparable net does not) I didn't think was that big a deal, but it allows you to move the net without worrying about pulling the bottom of the net and risking snagging and tearing, and it has enough room to let you tuck the skirt of the net into the mattress without pulling on/ and stressing the actual netting, and tucking it into the top of the mattress allows it to give more room around your head which I definitely recommend. The function of the protective skirt alone is reason to choose this net, and it looks great! Even if you don't have two people exiting, it is nice to be able to reach out the other side without lifting the net to turn off a reading lamp, plus the draping of second exit actually makes the net look better! This net definitely looks great, form and function all in one! (A review for the comparable net said that net looked really cheap which made me want to choose this one. I didn't want a net that would look like it was for a little girl's cheap princess room - and of course this net would look great in a princess room, but it definitely looks like it could fit in more mature decor for say someone older than seven!) Highly recommend! Yes, it was slightly more expensive than the comparable net, but this net is clearly made to last, look nice and be more convenient and it achieves all of these things with flying colors, definitely worth just a few extra dollars!

We have a Tentsile Trillium hammock in our backyard and we wanted a big nice mosquito net. We have the Timbuktoo mosquito net hung from light-weight chain off of a tree branch. It came with a hook and a carbiner and small adjustable cord that resembles paracord. We are using the carbiner for this application. We are using clothes pins to clip the netting to the edge of this hammock which is a 13.5 foot triangle on all sides. We have material hanging down on all sides so this netting is generous in size. We like the finish-work edging and it is very nicely made. Since this is netting we know to be gentle with it and we are careful not to snag the material. We also bring the nets in at the end of the day. Our second Timbuktoo netting hangs from the beam of the pergola to surround an Eno hammock. It is a little big (okay, a lot big) for this particular application but the kid in the hammock loves it. It not only works to keep the bugs off of her but works as a sunshade as well. This is a very nice looking, soft, mosquito netting, with nice spread of the fabric. The netting came packaged neatly it its own travel bag. I have not tried to put it back in the bag yet. I suspect it might take a minute to learn how to get it back in the bag. This would be great to take on vacations and such. The bag would fit neatly in a suitcase. I would not hesitate to hang this from a ceiling and surround a bed with it. It would look lovely and it should fit beautifully since it went around our big hammock. I would treat it kindly though as the netting is a fine close weave. If I would hang it in a kids room I would explain that it isnt to be swung on tarzan-style. When we laid in our hammock we could see the mosquitos flying around the fabric looking for a way in and it protected us very well all evening. Later, when a gap in the netting was created due to kids moving around in the hammock it was very easy to see the mosquito against the backdrop of the white netting bobbing around in there with us and we could kill it easily before getting bitten. We think the Timbuktoo Mosquito Nets are a success for our application.

I like that it is easy to install and use. The only thing that is not ideal is that it doesn’t seem to fit my queen bed completely. It rides up the end of the bed. It works perfectly though and is a good price. It is also easy to pack up and travel with because it comes with a carrying case.

I bought this to hang over my bed. I had a different one severs years ago that was more expensive than this one and not nearly as nice. This net is very well made, and has a pretty ribbon trim that makes it look really nice. I don’t have the bottom tucked in under my mattress because I don’t need it to keep out bugs; mine is simply for looks, and it looks absolutely beautiful. There are several of these nets to choose from, but this is the one you should choose if you’re looking for a quality product. It hangs nice and is easy to install. I didn’t use the cord that came with it to adjust the height. I just put a hook in the ceiling and hung it up. Simple! It looks gorgeous, and was the finishing touch I needed to make my bedroom look elegant and peaceful.
