Shoes are very well made. Very cushy in my opinion, good soft rubber heal. Love the tan color, great heel height. Worth the price. I have a relatively narrow foot. I was considering exchanging for a smaller size but fear they'll be too wide. I always wear an 8.5. I bought 8.5/9. They are very wide and loose. A little too long to where a thick sock won't work. I got these as a congratulatory gift for my aunt for passing her MA exam & officially becoming certified! She loves them! She says they are very comfortable & the arch support is wonderful. The don’t bother her bunions or her instep. She typically wears a size 39 but wanted to size up to 40 because they aren’t supposed to fit just right.     • Returned, weird hard plastic at heel

Returned. Good points: very well made, roomy toe box, gives height without a high heel because of thicker platform sole. Downside: weird hard plastic lines the back of the heel. With every step my heel would lift out of the shoe. I also found the inside to not be very cushy. Possibly with time it would mold to your feet. An insert would help but I have a tall foot. Had I put in anything padded the top of the shoe would have put too much pressure on the top of my foot. Sizing seemed accurate but if I wanted to wear heavy socks again the top of my foot would be squished. It is leather so over time it would have stretched. I returned them because my foot lifting out with each step was a deal breaker. ... show more

I love these shoes and wear them most days. Sizing is tough though for Americans. I normally wear a 9.5/10 and the size 40 fits ok. I could size up for some more space. My other Danskos are a 41 and they seem a bit loose. They will stretch a bit with wear.

Don't believe them when they tell you your recommended size. I am always a size 9 which is a 40 in Dansko clogs. I chose 8.5-9 figuring it would be a size 40. But it was a 39 so it was too small. I don't know why they don't say the actual size in EU sizes, but definitely size up from what they recommend. ... show more
