At first I really loved this comforter. Super comfy and fluffed up after awhile. It’s quite noisey but I myself have always liked that just not too much now when I’m moving and it wakes up my baby lol. It does get hot under there but overall it’s exactly what I was looking for. The only reason I gave it low stars is for the fact that there is feathers EVERYWHERE and they do stick out of the blanket too where it pokes ya. My whole floor is covered so I’m wondering why they are coming out so easily. I had to take it off my bed completely due to the fact that my 5month old had feathers on her from the blanket and when my 2 year old took a nap with me I woke up to one up her nose. I live in Florida and it’s perfect for all year. I am literally always hot and keep my AC no higher than 70 degrees (normally 65), this comforter is perfect. I always just get a few thin duvet covers and keep it clean that way. Yes, the fabric you choose absolutely affects how warm the blanket will get i.e cool cotton vs. flannel or jersey material I love it, exactly what I wanted and just as good as my $200 duvet. ... show more

This is a high quality down filled comforter. It is white with baffles so the down doesn't shift around. It is very nice and I just love it. I am loathe to get out of bed now, thank you very much. I'd say it's about the right weight for any season - I have an air-conditioned bedroom. It's not heavy on the feet and legs if you know what I mean. It's white so I put it inside a duvet cover. As far as the sound other reviewers spoke of, I guess. It doesn't bother me and I don't hear the ruffling sound really. It might be because I have it in a cover? I would recommend it. ... show more

Based on the previous duvet that this replaced it doesn’t quite measure up. As others have said this is a “loud” duvet. I have already had several feathers come out. Having said this for the price, this can’t be beat. It’s a little thicker than expected based on previous reviews. This duvet in my opinion is better for winter and is not an all season comforter. Just gets me too hot every now and then. Still for the price... good product ... show more
