I have slept under down comforters in the past. Never had I bought one for myself, for my own bed. I have constant pain from a disabling disease and do not sleep well, so anything that can help increase comfort and improve sleep is invaluable. My husband enjoys to sleep in a cool room. I do not enjoy being as cool as he does at night. He finds most blankets too heavy, and sheets alone are not enough. I hoped that down would be the answer. This down comforter has been the answer to the cool temperature! It is just warm enough, without being too heavy. Heavy blankets cause my legs added pain, yet cold also adds pain too. This keeps the chill off without being heavy. I was skeptical at first because the comforter came in a smaller box than I expected. It was vacuum packed into a bag, far more small than any polyfill comforter I have ever had before. I followed instructions and shook it out, leaving it for 24 hours even though there was no smell. The blanket filled out so fluffy and yet so light I could not believe it! It filled the duvet that the polyfill comforter was too thin for. We have had the comforter inside the duvet and on our bed for a week now and have had no feathers of any kind poking out. The comforter's fabric cover feels soft and strong. The boxes sewn to hold the feather fill in place is nice and tight. There has been no transfer between the boxes. Even with dogs that sleep on the bed from time to time there has been no feather transfer or breakage through the cover. I could not be more pleased with its performance thus far. I have heard some horror stories about purchasing down products online. I have had feather pillows where the feather quills have poked out and caused irritation. My husband dislikes feather pillows as he finds them hot. But even he cannot complain about this comforter. It is light and when he does get warm he flips it over onto me and I am even more cozy. Many would find $89.99 for the full size to be expensive considering you need to buy a duvet cover also. But with an improvement in my sleep, I find the price reasonable. You can pay the same for a comforter with thick polyfill at a department store and be less comfortable than with this. I can only imagine how it will be in winter

I ordered this Goose feather down comforter for my Cali King bed and I am beyond happy with it. It May actually be one of my top three favorite amazon purchases thus far. It is true to size, and feels comparable, if not even better than the ones you'd typically find in a higher tier hotel room. The thickness is fairly thick and keeps me warm, but also cool and airy - which is hard to put into the best words (lol). I originally felt like this would be a huge splurge, but after using it and sleeping well I think it's actually a sound investment in happiness and comfort. I'll be returning for a replacement when this one meets its end.

This is an extremely soft, thick duvet that can also be used as a blanket itself if you don't have a duvet cover. It is lightweight but also provides warmth and security when you are covered by it. It has creative use of stitching and filling to provide the best of both worlds. It is simultaneously very thick but also does not heat you up or take up too much room on the bed. With the addition of a duvet cover you can have a premium bed blanket in any style you want. If not you have a comfortable, stable cover for two in a pure white color that resists stains. Great for any large bed; it doesn't have to be king size. This duvet is comfortable and functional on its own.

The LESNNCIER Luxury Goose Feathers Down Comforter Queen Size, 750 FP Fluffy All Season Duvet Insert Queen, Ultra is cool to the touch. I like that it has multiple places in which to attach/tie your duvet cover too. That's aways a problem with duvet covers and inserts - not enough places to securely fasten the two together, but this one has thought of it and has placed attached areas not only on the corners, but also in the middle. The color white is a cool white - more with a hint of gray than bright white, but is still white. The stitching seems well done and the trim is a tasteful white/tan strip.
