This velvet quilt set is absolutely gorgeous! It's incredibly soft, very well-made, and looks so luxurious and inviting on my bed! It's warm, but lightweight, and washes very easily. I also have a cat who loves to lie on it as well, and his fur doesn't even stick to it (and his fur sticks to EVERYTHING), so it holds up nicely with pets, too. Overall, I highly, highly recommend.

The Full/Queen size quilt fits my queen bed with a very nice drape on the sides and foot. The shams fit standard size pillows. I'm impressed by the weight of the quilt - it definitely serves to keep you warm. And while it has a good strength and weight, it is also not too bulky or cumbersome. This quilt has high quality craftsmanship - the stitching and diamond design are first rate. I inspected the hemlines - there are no irregularities or loose threading. The quilt is 100% polyester which makes it more lightweight than its cotton counterpart. Its made to be breathable which will serve well during warmer seasons. The top has a velvet look and feel while the underside is a smooth material (not velvety). I put the quilt through the washer (cold water) and dryer (mid-level heat) before laying out on the bed. I don't see any pilling nor any stress on the stitching. Nor shrinkage. This is a durable, well made and very attractive quilt. As long as you like the look of velvet, this is a great choice.

I have sort of a chinoiserie inspired, jade green room going on and needed a bed throw that coordinates but can easily be removed and laundered for when my dog decides to jump in the bed. I wasn't sure if the color would truly match the listing photos but the green does match, exactly, which I appreciate. The size is a generous queen size and it's nice and soft to the touch. Weight is medium--not insultingly thin but not thick and too heavy / hot either.

The fabric looks almost striped when viewing it. As you can see in the attached picture the center of the bedspread is dark blue and the part mostly under the pillows is noticeably lighter and the lower third, by the footboard, is also lighter. The pillow shams show it more dramatically, I flipped one pillow to have the dark side pointed up and the other pillow has the dark side pointed down. In person it looks even worse, it looks very flawed and striped. Additionally, there is a large burn mark on the fabric that looks like it may have been burned with an iron. This bedspread should never have been sold. The only positive thing I can say about it is that the color is pretty.
