Best Cat Cave for cats and kitten I've tried more cat beds and caves than I care to admit, and the main issue was always size—especially with my two bigger cats. Many were high quality but just too small. So, I reluctantly ordered a Woolygon cave, impressed by its dimensions. When it arrived, I was blown away. Not only did all five of my cats love it, but I also discovered it's handmade in Nepal from Merino wool, which I wasn’t expecting. As someone who prefers supporting handcrafted products from other countries over mass-produced items, this was a pleasant surprise. The cave is thick, high-quality, and holds its shape well, making it perfect for keeping cats warm. Merino wool is one of my favorite materials—breathable, odor-resistant, and non-itchy—so it’s an ideal choice for a cat bed. I loved it so much that I immediately ordered four more caves. Now, all five cats are happily lounging in their new caves. These caves are top-notch—handmade, durable, and sure to last for years.

I bought three of these for my cats. My skinny cat uses it as designed and likes the feeling of security and the warmth it holds. The large, athletic cat is too dumb to go inside and lays on top. It makes a nice bowl shaped bed though and he likes it. The small but very fat cat goes in but gets stuck coming out so she sits on top and turns it into a bowl too. On the whole, they like them/ The caves are fairly thick so they do hold warmth and stand up to kneading well. They catch every bit of dirt and fur so they don't stay nice long. Too expensive for what you get. You have to be as crazy a cat lady as I am to even consider ordering, but for those who want something for the cat, it'll do. It works better if you set it in a big easter basket. The handle and sides make it possible for the fat cat to get out without dragging it along.

I purchased as a gift for my daughters' cat. It's a lovey color made of wool, well put together, no complaints on appearance, certainly looks sturdy enough to serve it's purpose, would probably keep cats warm. Hole is big enough for a medium sized cat. However; after a first try with some difficulty getting out it, there was no further interest from her cats. I brought it home for my cats who love their cat beds, neither of them showed any interest, even when tempting them with putting a favorite toy inside. They took one look and turned away. I've kept it out for them since Christmas without any interest what soever. I am going to attempt to return it.

I love the idea of this, but the cats never go inside it because it won’t hold the shape it is supposed to hold. I ended up putting it in a basket so they can lay on top of it. The material is really nice.
