Like many others who have reviewed these headlights, I too have had the opportunity to test and review other Hikari headlights in the past. From my first model to my present set of Hikari's I have never once complained about any one of them and each time they have gotten noticeably better and better (much to my surprise). I had tried other LED brands before Hikari and was never really satisfied by the brightness or longevity. The thing I have come to realize is that whenever Hikari comes out with a new model and they ask if you want to test them out that means they are confident you are going to like how they perform compared to any previous models you may have had so I was needless to say excited to try the Luxster model. Enough beating around the bush, these things are unbelievable! They are noticeably brighter than the current ones I've been using and now I fully understand what other reviews meant when they said they the clarity is better than previous versions! To make it even better they are more affordable than other versions have been and they are backed by a 2 year warranty. I can also speak to the warranty from experience. I had one light fail in the 2 year window and Hikari quickly got me a replacement set of bulbs which are still going strong. One call out is these bulbs are only good in projector headlight styles. You will seriously sear the retinas out of any oncoming traffic to the point they will likely mistake you for a UFO coming to take you away if you have the chrome reflector style headlight housings. I have included some pictures showing before (close up on my garage door as well as driving), and then some pictures with both new bulbs in (again with the garage door and two while driving). I had a picture with an old bulb in the right and a new bulb on the left but I decided not to post it as the picture didn't seem to capture the difference real well. Honestly none of the camera phone pictures i'm posting do the Luxsters justice like they deserve but they are worth the upgrade money in my opinion! I marked the longevity as a 5 out of 5. Even though I just got them I have no reason to doubt that these will be just as good if not better in longevity that previous headlights. I will update this review if that changes. Anyway, its been a true pleasure working with this company and its products which is so refreshing to be able to say as a consumer now days. I have purchased other products they have from their humidifier and a room fan and have been impressed with the performance each time. I cant say enough good things about my impression of this company and its products! Keep up the great work Hikari!
