I'm female, age 52 and caucasian, dark hair and I was skeptical about foundations, bc I have been using Laura Geller's foundation powder for for over 25 plus years and at $40 a pop it adds up and I figured why not give this a try I was nervous bc I have not used an actual liquid makeup in more than 25-28 years. This goes on white, which by the way I love. Anyhow, this truly matched with my skin tones and I can not tell which is which. I mean its a perfect match I have medium to olive skin and like I said I am 52 with an over 300 lbs weight loss and I am finding myself again and this foundation is a forever in my life If your hesitant, don't be. It truly matched what my skin tone should be if I had flawless skin. It does blur out any imperfections. My pores looked great. I do not have any hyper-pigmintion, freckles, acne marks. I do however have about 3/4 sun/age marks, but there small and only I know their there and this blurs them Its soft on my skin, doesn't transfer. Im born and raised CO and we are now into the low 90 degree temps and this makeup doesn't sit on my skin like most foundations do when you sweat This literally looks flawless. I did buy another at a great deal and I will build more. I do have lots of my Laura Geller powder makeup and I have been using it with this foundation to build more glow or color bc I use self tanners and I want to match my body and blend everything I would say if your on the fence...dont be. I was and took a chance. If it doesnt work out, return it, but what happens if it does work and you love it like I do! Mature ladies, just give this a try. I see so mant beautiful againg ladies who wear heavy foundations and it goes right into every wrinkle and crinkle of our skin and this blends and blurs into our wrinkle instead of emphasizing these areas I got the medium shade. I hope Luxe comes out with a slightly darker shade eventually

We all know the color changing thing is a gimmick (or else they wouldn't have different shades), but setting that aside: For me, the Light shade was a perfect match to my skin tone. I'm reasonably fair, with rosacea, but I have some color during the summer. This color leans ever so slightly warm, but not at all orange on me (unlike the ridiculously warm "light" shade of Tarte's new blur BB tinted moisturizer). Honestly, it may actually just be neutral on the warm/cool scale, but as my summer skin is a bit on the tan side of "fair" so that's why I think it may lean slightly warm as it's a perfect match for me. This is a light coverage foundation (almost like a tinted moisturizer, but with slightly more coverage) that feels light and non-greasy. It's not mattifying (I personally don't want mattifying as I have mature skin). It doesn't settle into my fine lines, and it lets my natural skin features show through some, while still evening out my skin tone and hiding the rosacea veins and redness. It wears really wear (this picture was taken after 7 hours of wear). In the picture you can definitely see more of my freckles and sun damage than when I first applied it, but my skin tone is still even and it doesn't get patchy as you wear it (which I really love). It gives me the "my skin but better" look that I prefer for every day wear without creasing, getting patchy, or feeling heavy on my face. Honestly, this does everything I want. I wish it had some SPF, but at the same time, I'm very sensitive to certain SPF formulas (some of them make my face and eyes burn) so I'm okay not having it. I apply a moisturizer with SPF underneath if I'm going to be out in the sun for more than 15 minutes.

I love this foundation!! It has great coverage, doesn’t settle in to your fine lines or wrinkles, skin like appearance, gives a nice glow. Color match can be on the darker side. It’s 3 pm and I put it on about 6 am this morning, it sits nicely all day and doesn’t change colors on you. I give it a 4 because I’ve used it for a week and it doesn’t seem like their is much in the tube.

Ever since I discovered LUX Color Changing Foundation in Light, it is literally the only foundation I use. It goes on white, blends beautifully into my skin, and somehow adjusts perfectly to my tone without me having to stress about shade matching. It gives me just enough coverage to even everything out without feeling heavy, cakey, or like I’m wearing a mask. My skin still looks like my skin—just better. I’ve tried plenty of foundations over the years, but I am never going back. You cannot make me. 😂 This one officially has a permanent spot in my makeup bag.

I have ordered foundations like this in the past with poor results. I'm happy to say this one actually works. I have fair to light skin so I ordered Light. It gives me some color so it may not be appropriate for the dead of winter, but although the color leans peachy/tan it doesn't turn orange. As it oxidizes over the day, it actually lightens up a little so even if it seems darker at first, it's fine as the day wears on. I wouldn't say it has a ton of coverage, but it's light to medium coverage on my skin. It has a little bit of moisture but it probably won't be enough for winter even though I applied it over moisturizer. And it doesn't take much! It spreads pretty well. Make sure you get it on evenly; I used my fingers and it worked great. There are tiny color "beads" - actually, more like tiny bubbles - mixed with the white cream so as those beads explode and blend, the color happens. Overall, I'm very happy. No, I'm not adding a photo of my 72 year old skin. 😂 OH, it has a slight amount of scent. It's a fresh scent and doesn't last long.

a little long but hope it helps- it did not change color whatsoever on my face. I am Caucasian but living in the South my arms and legs stay very tan most of the year. I try to keep my face protected from the sun so it's very pale with red undertones, so I ordered the medium shade hoping I would match up. They also compare this makeup to Estee Lauder makeup which is what I've used for years now and love, other than the price, so I thought I would give this a try. I was super excited to get this and waited for the weekend to test it out so in case I turned a weird shade I could wash it off and start all over again. I put it on, and waited, and waited, and waited... nothing happened at all, no color change, no anything. But I did notice it felt nice on my face, so I decided to go ahead and put my regular makeup on top of it. Once I was done, I must say, my makeup looked fantastic! I mean it always looks pretty good I guess, but this day it looked like it was professionally done and I was fixing to appear on tv or something lol. I really liked the finished/polished look it left me with. I would say this would make an amazing primer for your makeup, but for me, it did not work solely as a foundation makeup whatsoever.

It’s not exactly perfect. L’Oréal actually is a bit better for me. I feel the product was a bit ove advertised as the best make up for a 65 year old. I would suggest trying the shade you think is best and if it’s not right on your skin tone then return it. I do like the product and the packaging. It’s easy to carry on trips or a night out. Goes on smoothly. Blends well. I did feel the product was a bit overpriced. I paid $39 for one item. Weeks later there was a sale to buy one get one free however I missed that deal and it wouldn’t be honored of course.

Finally ordered and I absolutely love it. The color correction is great. I have some eczema going on right now on the upper corner of my left eye near bridge of nose. It's not super covering over places like that unless you apply a lot but because there's not a lot in this tube, I didn't load up. If I was going somewhere special today I would. It feels incredible on my face. Lightweight and blends perfectly. I got the medium. I'm fair skinned naturally, but like to spray tan in the summer so I was reluctant to order because I wasn't sure what color I should get. Got the medium. Four stars. I love it! Try it.
