I don’t wear make up so I was surprised at how easy it was for me to do this without experience interacting with my face this way. I watched videos before of people who failed and didn’t have the issues they had. I used lash glue to affix the pad to my eye (ordered separately), but the kits glue for my eyelashes to the pad. I didn’t use too much but also not sparingly. I found that if I just methodically and repeatedly combed the lashes onto the pad eventually they would stick as the glue got tackier. I had some shorter lashes that didn’t at first, but the seran wrap ended up holding them in place. I folded the seran wrap a couple times into a small strip and applied it from under to catch those lashes and then pressed it on the rest to cover. Halfway through processing I combed the lashes as they were now curling and easier to manage to ensure they were positioned nicely and not overlapping as much and re-covered with seran wrap. This helped hold them in place when the lotion made the glue less tacky. On one eye I didn’t put the pad in the correct place bc my eye is shaped differently. So some lashes didn’t make it on the pad on my outer edge. I applied the perm lotion anyway and it curled anyway. So I found it to be very forgiving. The smaller the pad the more dramatic the curl. I have long and short lashes, so picked the smallest one that gives you dramatic. It was def enough to notice results. My lashes look great. I have sensitive skin and this product didn’t irritate my eyes much. I notice that my eyes feel dry (bc you’re to avoid your eye routine for a bit) but they're not puffy or swollen, no rashes. I was worried since I order on Amazon and my box wasn’t in German and didn’t come with instructions that maybe that it was a knock off. So I ordered one from Luxe’s website too and it looked the same with everything in English. I used this one and it worked. Worth every penny. Update 10 weeks later: Jan 7, 2024. The curl did last about 8 weeks. The package comes with 3 packets of each lotion, 2 uses per pack but aren’t resealable. So I stored them in tiny individual ziplock bags (so there was very little air) at room temp in my medicine cabinet. I just used those open packets again and remained just as potent and curled my lashes no problem. Definitely a good product.

The color accuracy is spot on, though I got black so hard to miss that? The glue is effective as is the rest of the steps in the process. I really like the ease of use and effectiveness. It is a bit tricky for me to use as I have issues with things on or around my eyes, though that’s definitely a user issue. I think it’s a great value for your money, I do wish it came with containers to keep the extra product in the packets and my other issue is the applicators, the ones with the fuzzy tip, the tip part with slide right off so that can be a bit annoying. Otherwise love the kit, and what it does for me.

The glue was terrible , I think mine was completely old so it didn’t move or come out, it was hardened to a point where it just looked like hardened to solid plastic inside the container. I had to melt it a bit in hot water before I could get anything from it. I ended up breaking the little glue vial in half, and poked its contents with a sharp tweezer. After applying it I Finally understand why the glue was like this. It’s actually not supposed to be “glue”. It’s just supposed to be some type of substance that helps the lashes stick temporarily to the eye lash rods, but it’s actually not the kind of glue everyone thinks it is. So do not think that applying it the lashes will stay in place it more important in the way you apply it, to make it stay in place. It’s supposed to come off easily so that is why it is very difficult to apply. Do not worry about putting excess on just make sure you apply it in a way where you’re able to use it make the lash stick to the rod and stay in place right before applying the perm. It did the job the first time for me, but i admit i could have done a better job if i knew before hand what to expect. If you don’t apply it correctly your lashes will not look right in the end. Just make sure you even out the spaces in your lashes when they’re sticking to the rod, use the tools it came with like brushes and what not.

I was a little skeptical on this product but gave it a go- and it worked! It takes some patience and practice, and you need at least an hour to do both eyes, but it’s worth it. Great little kit that lets you use it 3 times to lift your lashes. Definitely recommend to save yourself some $$ going to the beautician. Some tips: -Be patient, it takes a little bit to get it right. -Takes about a half hour for each eye, so do it when you have some time. -Make sure you have your lashes STRAIGHT up. If they’re off to the side a bit, they will curl that way and leave a gap (like mine did). -Start off with the medium curl. I went straight to the intense curl, and it definitely over curled them! Next go around I won’t be doing the most extreme curl. -glue down the silicone pad, it’s easier that way so it doesn’t move later on when you’re putting on product or brushing up your lashes to stick.
