Not sure why this doesn’t get more 5 stars but first impression is it’s awesome. If you follow the directions it’s not that hard to do. Yes you have to be patient but that being said it takes max 1 hour total, which in the grand scheme of things is not very long for some self care. I found the lid pads did fine if you just glue them on directly. The sticky part won’t work you do have to glue it. If you do that the corners do fine. You also don’t need to trim it even if it is long. Just let it be long. I found my lashes didn’t stick super well so I had to apply quite a bit of glue. I think the purpose of the glue is just to be applied at the tips. It was a little annoying to get the glue off at the end but not that hard overall. I have fairly sensitive eyes and skin and there was some initial warmth and discomfort with the glue but it’s very fleeting and not that bad overall. I used the standard lid pad and it curled my lashes quite a lot so I can imagine that the more dramatic ones would be even more so. Since I glued the pads on I’m also going to try reusing them since the glue peels off the silicone once you’re done. Will update after a few days to see if it lasts and how it wares with time. But out of the box it’s pretty great for $40.

I followed all the directions and even tried to use this kit 3 times since I bought it every time it has been a huge headache. First the eyelid shields pads what ever you want to call them are very flat and don't curve with your natural eye shape causing them to lift off your eyelid. I have tried to apply the glue but it BURNS my skin it even says to do that if the pads won't stick so I did it and it peeled my skin off with it when I took the pads off. Even with the glue the edges still come up to I tried trimming them to see if that helps and even then I doesn't. The inner and outer corner of my lashes end up weird looking bc of it. Next issue. The glue hardly sticks my lashes down and i don't want to use too much and it be a pointless process. Once you get the lashes to stick you cannot fix them at all so you have to peal the glue off your lashes and try again. A balm would make this 10000000% easier. Next issue. There is alot of product waste with the little tear open packages something with a cap would be better and you could get more uses out of one box but I have over half a pack of product left every time and I have to just throw it away. So really you only get three uses. Overall the end result is nice if your willing to fight through the headach of this application process. I don't think it's worth the price though

The biggest complaint I saw on the reviews were about the glue Drying too quickly and the pads not being sticky enough. The pads were super sticky… Almost too sticky as I needed to peel one off to reapply it in a different position and it was stuck on there very well. It even stuck very well again after I reapplied. I started with a freshly washed face with soap and water… Not any moisturizing cleanser. The glue is great as well. It does dry fast, but that’s a good thing. Just work in small sections and you will be fine. I applied a quarter of an inch of glue to where the top of my lashes would hit on the pad, then I combed my lashes up into the glue And held them there at the top for a few seconds so that it really stuck, then I Continued like that working in small sections and it worked just fine. The reviews had me so worried about the glue that I bought Kiss eyelash glue and that was a huge mistake. I tried to use that first and it clumped everything together so bad it was almost impossible to get it out of my eyelashes without ripping them all out. The glue included is much gentler and is specifically created to allow the perm solution to permeate eyelash and give it a good curl. I also got the black tint kit and I highly recommend that as well. The lift worked great! I used the pad that is one step above the small pad I believe. I think that one eye has more curl than the other and that could be due to me not using enough perm solution to keep it moist throughout the 10 to 12 minutes it takes to develop. So just be mindful of Using enough to keep it moist.

Tried step 1-2 3 times before giving up and returning. Used the lash pads and cut to fit my eye size. They're hard to position. Next was glue then brush the lashes onto the glue. The brush was rock hard and pointed. I almost didn't realize it was a bristle brush at first. Finally got the glue on and lashes wouldn't stick to it. Directions say it won't stick right away and I followed all the tips. No luck on all lashes sticking. Now the glue is dry and peeling off and gunked up in my lashes so I start over. Happens again all 3 times. I even switched eyes and still had problems. ** this is a clean washed face btw no makeup for 5 days prior to this** Lash pads and my lashes are covered in dry glue now. Had to use makeup remover to get clean. Didn't even get to try the lash serums. Only the applicators were used. This kit also doesn't include anything to tape your bottom lashes out of the way. Mine kept getting caught in the glue. Thankfully I realized and didn't try to perm my bottom lashes up into my top lashes 😂 but that's a fail in my opinion on product packaging and instructions. Why would I have something to hold my bottom lashes down when I'm buying their kit? Food for thought.🤔 now I know why this service is so expensive in salons. You get what you pay for here.
