I had ordered this part to go with another brand's bidet before I ordered a Luxe bidet due to its flip-up design for easy cleaning. I assumed that when Luxe listed the Neo 185 as compatible that the Neo185 Plus would be compatible as well but it isn't without ordering a different hose. I ended up ordering the Eastman 48026 hose and will update this review after installing it. Luxe should update this product listing to state that this product isn't compatible with at least the Neo 185 Plus and possibly other models as well. This is still a high-quality product hence the rating, but it's frustrating when problems like this could've been avoided. ... show more

This is an ABSOLUTE MUST for anyone who wants to install a bidet on your toilet. You have no way of controlling how much pressure your bidet will unleash upon your delicate parts without this device. You're at the mercy of whatever blasting pressure is coming out of your bathroom wall. This is a very nice adapter but it didn’t fit on my toilet connection. I got it as an upgrade to the standard connector that came with a Luxe Bidet. I tried it on two different toilets & the threads didn’t match up right. I have Fluidmaster toilet parts with standard 7/8” connection and even though it says it’s compatible it wouldn’t thread right. I went ahead & just used the connector that came with the bidet & it works fine so I returned this one. I was concerned about our high water pressure being too much but the bidet works fine as long as I don’t turn the pressure up very high. If I want to reduce the water pressure at some point I will just turn the water supply knob to the toilet down a little bit to reduce it. So, if you’re wanting this for a bidet connection I would recommend trying the connector that comes with your bidet first & then if you still think you need a regulator there are other brands with 7/8” connections that work. I had also purchased another adapter with water regulator that did fit on one of my toilets with no problem at all. It works but actually I don’t feel it’s necessary. Try the part that came with the bidet first. PROS: Nicely made; attractive; easy adjust knob. I’m sure it works fine if you can attach it. CONS: This wouldn’t thread on my 7/8” toilet connection. T Also, the nut where you screw it on to the toilet is chrome & is slick if your hands are damp & therefore hard to grasp, turn & tighten. ... show more

I like the idea behind the product and think it would last as long as the bidet. However, I don't like that the flow is cut in half to the toilet as well. I am tempted to just put a shower flow restrictor inline with the hose to the bidet. Either way, you can't go wrong because even with the heavy restricted flow, the max setting on the bidet will still probably be more than you want. I bought this item because the instruction said the main package wouldn’t have this part but indeed it did have it, so I had to send extra part back. You have to really look close to the descriptions when figuring out going to buy something.

The provided plastic T-piece with my Lux just wasn't cutting it and kept leaking. Plus, the line was putting out way too much pressure even with the lowest flow on the bidet. This T-piece was exactly what I needed. No leaks and I was able to dial down the flow to be much more comfortable.
