This skirt is very cute and comfortable; and I wear it often. It seems pretty durable and good quality. However, it runs tight. I first ordered a medium/8 (my usual size) and it sort of fit but was much tighter than I feel comfortable in. So, for the sake of modesty and movement, I ordered a large, which is probably a tad on the baggy side but I'd rather have that. For reference I'm 5'4" and 125 lbs. Overall, I recommend; just go with a size up.

I’m 5’3, 142 lbs, I got a medium and it was far too large around the waist (it would have fit towards the end of my pregnancy that’s how much room there was) so I returned it and got a small. The small fits my waist much better but now the buttons down the front of the skirt pull apart. The fabric is stretchy enough that I’ve just sewn all but the last few buttons down and that’s done the trick.

I've lost a bit of weight over the past year and my denim skirt no longer fit... After visiting quite a few stores and second-hand stores I decided that my best bet for finding a denim skirt to my liking would be Amazon. My requirements were: some stretch, buttons down the front, and be knee-length plus. This skirt met all my requirements and surpassed them! First, the skirt fits perfectly - no extra material at the waist and at the knees (no awkward flare at the back of the legs). Second, behind the buttons is a zipper! It is really hard to describe, but the zipper prevents gaps between the buttons and keeps you feelin' safe. Finally, the skirt is washable and doesn't shrink! Yay!

The overall style of the skirt is pleasing. But, the waist is more high rise then mid-rise. There is a hidden zipper behind the buttons that goes almost all the way down. The fabric is stretchy. Did I order the same skirt as everyone else who gave a review? I do not have an hour glass figure, more of a boy type. I do not have a tummy nor a small waist. Disappointed in the fit. I have to adjust the waist.
