Description

The Diva LED+ dimmer switch provides optimal dimming performance of LED bulbs. This dimmer switch works with up to 150-Watt of dimmable LED/CFL or 600-Watt of incandescent/halogen, allowing you to control multiple bulb types on the same circuit. It is designed to control a broad range of dimmable LED and CFL bulbs from a variety of brands including Philips, Cree, GE, EcoSmart and Lighting Science. The Diva dimmer switch features a paddle switch to turn your lights off or on returning the lights to your favorite level. This dimmer switch also features a discreet slide control next to the switch, allowing you to adjust the lights for any activity. The Diva dimmable CFL/LED dimmer with HED Technology features advanced dimming circuitry that is designed for compatibility with most high efficacy light bulbs. With the same features as Lutron's Diva dimmer, the large paddle switch turns the light on/off and returns to your favorite setting. The discreet slider adjusts the light level to suit any activity. These dimmers improve the dimming performance of dimmable CFLs and LEDs compared to standard dimmers. Lutron dimmers with HED Technology also provide full-range dimming for halogen and incandescent bulbs, ensuring today's dimmer is compatible with tomorrow's light sources.     • GREAT dimmer
I bought two of these dimmers. One is used in a single pole (one fixture - one switch that controls it) situation - the other one is used in a 3 pole situation ( one light fixture that is controlled by two different switches). One reviewer said that you need a neutral wire for this dimmer - I almost didn't buy it because of that review. You do NOT need or use neutral wires for this dimmer - although with some other Lutron dimmers you do. Two black wires and a ground wire for the single pole - Two black wires, one red wire, one ground wire for the three pole. For the three pole situation only: Make sure that you mark with tape the HOT black wire before you disconnect it form your old switch (the HOT black wire is the black wire that is connected to a colored screw ( meaning it is a different color from the other remaining screws being used). The instructions included were very clear and easy to follow. I am using Luxon Edison LED DIMMABLE 2700K light bulbs in both situations. One fixture is using 8 of those bulbs - the other fixture is using three of those bulbs. In BOTH situations the bulbs and dimmer work PERFECTLY together - no flicker, no noise, no humming. I can dim the bulbs from zero to high NO problems at all. Could not ask for more. ... show more

    • Good for my LED recessed can light retrofit project
Installed 9 LED ceiling can lights. Works good. I am a fan of having the large on/off switch and just the small slider bar on the side since i would not typically change the brightness all that often. Stays at whatever brightness you set it on. Very nice but these are all a little pricey.

Ordered on Monday, received on Tuesday, 10-minute installation, works perfectly. Product video was extremely helpful as the product has changed from the original single pole type dimmer switch and can now be used as a single pole or 3-way switch. Top Quality product

    • Works Well - Maybe too well!
This did exactly what I wanted it to do. Turns on the lights automatically when you enter the room. Turns them off when you leave. Problem is - it turns them off while I'm still in the room too since this switch was put into my office and because I'm sitting at my desk the lights will go off because the sensor doesn't get tripped by me sitting at my desk. Every little while I have to wave my arms like a bird to keep the lights on (or turn them back on if they've gone off)! ... show more

Search for Lutron DV 600P resulted in this dimmer. In spite of a different part number and emphasis on LED / Haolgen dimming, it is also does conventional incandescent to 600 Watts - exactly what was needed. Decorator cover that is supplied with the dimmer did not match the older style covers in the house but was easily removed and the old style cover fit perfectly and screws worked as before. Instructions were sufficient but not as clear as would be nice to differentiate between single pole and 3-way connections. Side note on wire color gave the key and it worked fine. ... show more

The dimmer appears well-constructed. Instruction sheet was complete and easy to follow. However, on the sheet (and not mentioned on the Amazon listing or on the package's exterior) is a statement that it works only with fixtures certified by Lutron. As such, it did not function as intended with my LED fixture that was "dimmable." Instead of dimming the fixture, the fixture fluttered.
