If you are looking for a sheer set of curtains then these are not for you. They are lightweight and wrinkle free, but they provide privacy instead of transparency. I am very pleased with mine because my intended use is for privacy. They are absolutely beautiful.

These are beautiful curtains, nice weight to the fabric and a smooth soft to the touch feel. These are not light-blocking but they are not sheer, you can't see "through" them but light still filters through. I bought two pair and the pattern matches up on each panel per pair. From the very top of the curtain to the bottom measures 85". The photographs of the curtains make the pattern look very compressed and dark, but to my eyes they read primarily white (not a creamy, a bright white) with horizontal thin-line black geographic patterns. ... show more
