After a few near misses with drivers not paying attention while loading the back of my GMC suburban with groceries,and supplies from the local big box stores.i decided to be proactive in making a my giant k2500 suburban more visible so I ordered 3 sets of emergency truck led strobe strips for my suburban one set for sides one for the front and one for the rear. Although I haven't permanently mounted them yet I'm waiting for the weather to warm up a little so the adhesive back won't peel off . I laid them out all around my SUV and ran the wires inside . To where on my lower console they will be plugged in with the switches off on a circuit that is on the ignition side so they turn off when the keys off to avoid accidental activation. So all I have to do is reach down and flip the 3 little toggle switches on and let there be light. !!! . Wow I waited to dark to test them in my drive way and it was incredible about of flashing light so much in fact my neighbor came outside because he thought that emergency services were called in because of the light bouncing and flashing everywhere. I was a little embarrassed when I saw my neighbor standing at the fence smiling his approval it must be a guy thing but it lit up the whole drive way you can even adjust the flash pattern to best suit your circumstances. The wiring was simple I used zip ties temporarily till I get the double stick tape on this weekend it's going to be 70 I drilled one hole and used a rubber grommet and some silicone to bring the wires in the cab right below the lower console and sealed it for a water tightness.if any one wants to be seen in an emergency look no farther . Give these a try I don't think you will be disappointed mine are amber and white for safety but they also have red, blue as well I guess for fire fighters and police and emergency vehicles. It's pretty simple a string of multi color heavy duty LEDs that mount seamlessly to your running boards and a plug in for a 12v aux socket/cigarette lighter. Comes with mounting hardware wire harness and instructions. I would recommend this to anyone who would be interested in this safety lighting kit .

This is a great solution for adding emergency lighting to your vehicle to improve safety. Installation is very straightforward - I attached it to my tailgate using only double-sided adhesive tape and hasn't moved even slightly after 2 months of rain and winter weather. I comes with an extremely long cable that allows me to plug in the cigarette port that powers it into my front dash, run the cable under the carpet and seats to the back of my Ford Explorer without needing any sort of extension. These lights are BRIGHT! The control box allows you complete control over the patterns of lights on the strip from inside your vehicle - choosing from 35 different modes. I liked that I could click a "Favorite" button to pull up the pattern I like by default. The modes allow you to choose how much attention you want to draw to your vehicle. I'm very impressed with the product and consider it a huge upgrade to the safety of my vehicle. The ONLY potential negative is a somewhat confusing on/off switch on the cigarette lighter plug instead of on the control panel itself. It made me look for the switch on the control panel before going to the manual and finding out where it was. Overall, I can completely recommend it as a great, easy-to-install solution which will improve your vehicle's safety.

I ordered the LUMENIX 49" Inch Strobe Light Strip for our 2017 Subaru Forester SUV. I’m a retired first responder so am use to having commercial emergency warning lights on any vehicle I operate, especially rear facing direction indicators to advise motorist to switch lane. This led strobe strip arrived a couple days ago but I was dealing with other matters. I finally found some free time to install the strobe strip onto our 2017 Subaru Forester, which was easily accomplished by popping the rear hatch then using a degreaser and alcohol on the area the led strip was being attached. I however ran into a problem, which is the gap/space between the top bumper cover and the bottom edge of the rear hatch (when closed) is pretty narrow, so an approaching vehicle will/can see the flashing led strobe light, but not as much as intended. The led strobe strip at night is very bright even with the gap being very narrow, but it is not as obvious during the day. I am considering an alternative location, which is at the top edge of the rear window. I can have the local fabricator cut a length of polycarbonate to match the length of the led light strip, with tabs so I can attach everything onto the back window, but will depend on my being able to remove the led strobe strip from the back of our SUV. The switch for this led strobe is self explanatory, does not even require instructions (included instruction is kind of blurry, maybe is photo copied). I mounted the switch in the center console/armrest. The materials used appear to be pretty durable, no sharp edges or burrs, adhesive is okay. I hardwired the power cord into the fusebox instead of plugging into the cigarette lighter outlet (much cleaner and professional installation). I would have preferred each component have plug ports or terminals, which would allow more flexibility for the installer. Location choice for the switch/control was limited to the length of the included wiring, but this is kind of like a plug and play and not a custom installation so can’t really complain much. The included screws do not look like self tapping type but are so small that you are better off pre drilling anyway. The MSRP is very reasonable, especially when compared to the price of a comparable product manufactured and sold by the leading GO TO manufacture of emergency lighting in the USA. I paid over $2,000 to equip my last vehicle with front and back emergency lighting.

The arrows don't match for what you press on the button. When you press left on the button, the errors go right when you pass right on the errors. It goes left nothing max's don't buy they cross the wires
