At first I tried a third party option to mount my lume cube to my camera. It worked kind of. It didn't stay tight and wasn't very movable. I finally got fed up and bought the official ballhead and I couldn't be happier. It stays how I set it and can easily connect to a camera, light stand, or tripod.
