Holy crap bat man! This soap is legit! Let's face reality here and realize that everybody stinks. After working, going to tbe gym, whatever! Even woman smell like they rolled around in a turd blossom forest sometimes. This is the best soap I have ever used. Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, my autoimmune doesn't hate it and cause any reactions and best of all? It makes u smell fresh as a meadow after a spring rain literally the second it touches your skin. Its good stuff. I wish my husband and kid would leave it alone so it would last longer, but at least my house doesn't smell like feet, butt and regret. Try it, you won't be disappointed and no I do not get paid for this review. I have to work like a dog for my money :)

All my life I perspired heavily! Hot/exercise/nervous/ any alcohol/spicy foods, you name it….. I have sweat dripping down my face & (mainly) upper body. While I’ve made peace with sweating (a former coworker could not sweat & it was very uncomfortable for her), I’ve always felt smelly and very self conscious no matter how often I shower and/or apply deodorant. This amazing bar of soap surprised me! It works so very well. I’m in my 70’s now and sweat even worse but for the first time in a long while I feel fresh for over 24 hours!! Yay! The soap lathers beautifully to a creamy foam and efficiently cleanses my body including sensitive areas without stripping my skin dry. There’s no strange “dry” feeling after a shower and despite sweating, I’m odor free! I’m really blown away! After a life-time of searching, I finally found a solution to my problem: I still sweat but I don’t feel smelly! This is a game-changer for anyone who perspires a lot! Update 06/05/25 With temperatures climbing, I decided to do a comparison: Test 1 - shower with Lume, regular deodorant. Worked up a sweat. Next day quick wash-up with regular soap, regular deodorant; did several loads of laundry, perspiring heavily BUT no smell! Yay! Test 2 - shower with regular body wash, regular deodorant. Worked up a sweat - slight smell. Next day quick wash-up with regular soap, regular deodorant. Worked up a sweat - ugh…. rank, nasty body odor, yuck!! 👃 Lume soap is a definite must for me!!

I was unsure of this brand at first because it seemed gimmicky but I tried the deodorant from my local Walmart and decided to try more products from them. As a breast feeding mama who struggles with body odor this is such a game changer. I love it so much! I really like the deodorant but the cleansing bar is epic. It works so well. It has improved the discoloration in my armpits, it has helped with the redness and bumps on my arms (keratosis pilaris), it isn’t super strong scented but it really does neutralize which I really like. I dry out very easily with bar soaps but this one doesn’t leave me dry- it’s not moisturizing but it is a happy medium, no flaky/itchy skin like some bar soaps. I recommended it to my friends and family. It lasts a while too especially if you use it with the deodorant! My hope is they come out with a body lotion or cream too because I would snatch that up in a heartbeat!

This is such a great product. I love the acidified body wash but this is a game changer for travel! Works equally as the body wash and still has a great scent. I love it so much, I switch back and forth between the acidified shower body wash and the acidified bar. It does seem to be slightly more in price, but I think it's definitely worth it if you are looking for a reliable acidified soap instead of body wash. You will not be disappointed!

I do love the soap. It smells nice and definitely cleans the body. I've been using it for a few weeks now and feel it does not have 24-hour odor protection. At least not for the underarms. It is however, moisturizing and does not irritate my skin. I'd like to know if there's a break-in period for odor protection to actually begin happening. I do feel it's on the pricey side for it to not deliver what it promises. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Love it! I’ve had some hit or misses with Lume products, mostly scents, from ok to literally gagging lol. But I love this bar. I always moisturize, but even with Dove shower gel my skin will eventually feel dry. I’ve noticed a difference with this. I used it once as shampoo just out of curiosity, and while it lathers amazingly, my hair looked dry after. I have thin wavy hair, so just not for me. As far as face and body, I’ll be buying this again. I’ve had it for a month (I think?) and it’s about 3/4 the original size. Scent is nice and fresh without being floral, and I do feel clean longer. Yeah, it’s 20 bucks, but this replaced my face and shower soaps, so it’s a wash (pun intended).

I've used both this bar soap and the acidified shower gel, and I'm much prefer the bar soap. It works better, and it lasts longer. I keep it in a bar soap case that drains, and I rub it on a shower puff, rather than directly on my body. This bar of soap will last me 2 months with daily showers. But, I actually don't need daily showers when I use this. I could totally shower every other day if I wanted to, but I don't. I like my shower time. Nobody talks about the way your smile changes when you have a baby, when you're breastfeeding or when you hit perimenopause. This stuff definitely takes care of the new and funky smells that have emerged over the years.

I gave this bar of soap 3 stars because I do like the way it feels and it’s gets nice and sudsy. It doesn’t smell all that great though, even in the tangerine scented bar. At a price point of $20 a bar, I think it’s WAY overpriced! It does make my skin feel softer, but I can get that with a bar of Dove soap at a much better price. I did see a small difference in body odor, but that alone doesn’t make this worth the extra money. Lume needs to come way down in price for me to give this 5 stars!
