To each their own for sure. When I got these items two of them smelled pretty "salty." I don't know a better way to explain it but that's what it smelled like. The other two smelled very similar (if I took a blind test, I probably couldn't tell the difference) and weren't salty smelling but was pretty subtle smell and not as pungent as I would have liked. ... show more

Good variety. All scents have a good smell. Longevity is short but no big deal to reapply a couple times a day. I’m currently living in program fighting the demons of alcoholism. We’re not allowed alcohol based colognes. I love to smell good so it does the trick for my temporary time spent here.

Tween friendly! Grandson has become interested in scents. Purchased this discovery pack as an intro and for him to experiment with layering fragrance and understanding how his body chemistry reacts. None of the scents are offensive. The balm form makes it hard for him to over-do it. 3 of the 4 have a clean, sporty/watery vibe. One is woody/spicy and more mature…he thinks it smells like pumpkin pie.
