Y'all I could not be more happy with this backpack purse!! Happy doesn't even begin to express my satisfaction! I literally searched Amazon for 2 months!! I had atleast 9 different items in my cart (all backpack purses) in different sizes and styles. I just couldn't find THE ONE. Then Amazon (who knows exactly what I like 😉) sent me a "recommended for you" with UTO's Women's Backpack Purse. I checked out the description and measurements, comparing against my well used battered and beaten backpack purse from Journey's (which I believe cost around $60 retail (U.S.D). For the next 2 weeks, I literally spent HOURS reading every. single. review! I FINALLY made my choice in color (the lighter brown), informed my husband it was my Mother's Day Gift and confirmed my order. BEST DECISION EVER! 😁 The 3 days I had to wait for it was a mixture of excitement, wonder, and worry (because of the negative reviews). I received my new purse May 17th, just one day after Mother's Day. Y'all, I now have SIX "best days of my life" 😍😁 Today is June 13th, almost a month to the day that I received this purse and I am STILL absolutely, insanely smitten with it!! I have yet to regret this purchase and it's definitely worth the price! The negative reviews listed several "cons" but I have YET to find a single negative thing with mine. (Maybe I'm not as picky as I thought or have very low expectations 🤷) *Some reviews mention a bad smell. I think mine smelled just fine; like a new product. Not quite a leathery smell but definitely "leather like". *Some mention the zippers not lining up or snagging; mine appears to line up perfectly! As for snagging; DON'T SNATCH THE DARN THING SHUT!! 🤦🙄 It most definitely has more than enough room to fit pretty much anything smaller than a 1" (inch) binder; although I wouldn't say it's school backpack material. I have been able to fit 4 small journals, a MINI 3 ringed binder and a standard sized Bible, as well as a big pen/pencil bag (atleast 8x4, maybe bigger) with other everyday items like my wallet, Chapstick, gum, an inhaler, a medication bottle and my .22 handgun at one time! That's just the main pocket! I could have probably fit more! My husband FEARS having to look through it! He says he's deathly afraid he'll fall in and get lost! 😂 The side pockets are perfect for a can or bottled drink and will definitely fit a nice sized water bottle. I use the front rectangular pocket for my wallet (which I also ordered from Amazon as part of my Mom's Day Gift) and it just about takes up the whole pocket by itself. My favorite pocket is the hidden "anti theft" pocket, which is really just as wide as my hand but has a decent amount of length. It doesn't go the full length of the purse but is probably close to half that. There really isn't much depth to it but it's definitely big enough for a small, thin wallet (pretty sure those aluminum wallets will fit if it's slipped in at an angle.) It's perfect for my phone (LG G7 THINQ) and still has some room to spare. The straps are the same material as the purse and definitely appear very strong. I honestly love how versatile they are! I can carry it on my shoulder like a regular purse or on both shoulders like a bookbag. (I mostly use the backpack method) All in all, I am beyond satisfied with it! I'd give 15 stars if possible. And definitely pay top dollar too! I could honestly go on and on about this purse ALL DAY! Its 100% my favorite purse! I hardly ever let it out of my site! If you're looking for a simple, yet still cute and stylish purse, GET THIS ONE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! It would definitely make a really good diaper bag too! I have 3 kids and a husband, with my youngest being 4 y/o; and the amount of stuff I'm having to carry around daily is indescribable. I so WISH I had this when they were younger. But since getting this purse, I haven't had to juggle multiple items or make 4 trips back to my SUV or my house because I left something. I put everything we'll need in my bag and it leaves my hands free to lock or unlock my doors, or grab a few bags of groceries without having to take my purse and having both arms full of various things that go inside first on grocery day! I'm telling y'all! This is a GREAT purse!!! I absolutely love it! (as you can definitely tell! 😁)

I am a full time mom of three littles and a part time student. No matter what size or variation of shoulder purse I bought I was unhappy and either didn't have enough room or it hurt my shoulder or it was the wrong dimensions. I figured a smaller backpack/purse would be a better option. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BAG!! I am SUPER picky but this thing is awesome!! First, I love the look, I purchased the gray bag and its a little rugged looking by design. I love this because I'm not worried about it getting torn up with how rough I am on my purses. It's a soft leather like material so I love the way it feels and the straps are very comfortable!! Also the interior is a black fabric so it doesn't show dirt or pen marks which is awesome because I'm constantly shoving pens in my bag with school and life in general and I have scrubbed plenty a pen mark out of previous bags. Next, the size is literally perfect! I am a planner girl, I constantly carry my classic sized happy planner, it is my life... This bag not only has plenty of room for it but also all the pens I like to carry to keep things color coded or highlighters to highlight important things. I also carry a set of folding reusable bags for those quick trips to the store on the way home, and they fit no problem. I also have a bunch of other junk in there and I still have room. Not only that but there are sooooo many pockets to keep things organized!! I am sooooo in love with how organized I am able to keep everything so that, even though I carry about as much as Mary Poppins, I can quickly reach in and grab anything I need without having to dig or look or take forever to find things. And the bag doesn't seem bulky or cumbersome from the outside!! It's AMAZING!!! This purse is exactly what I have been looking for since I became a mother and I honstley am thinking about purchasing it in a few other colors so I have options because I'm not sure I wanna carry another purse ever again... UPDATE: So I ended up using this bag for 2 years. I was by no means easy on it, and with 3 toddlers it adapted many times over over the last couple years. Sadly, recently old trusty has taken all the abuse she could handle and has started falling apart... So, what did I do?? You guessed it! Bought another UTO backpack in a little bit of a different style (I mean after 2 years who wouldn't want something new??). I looked at SO many others but after how hard in love I fell with this bag I just couldn't bring myself to stray. And yes, I have fallen in love all over again with my new bag.

Why have I not found this diaper backpack before??? I have been searching for many years for the best diaper bag/backpack & have had no success until now! I have gone through at least 10 different diaper bags. I’m in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with this UTO backpack! Like other reviewers stated, it is butter soft and the quality is great! The zippers are sturdy and work smoothly. I love that you can carry it 3 different ways (backpack, over the shoulder, or quick grab). Mine did have a strong smell too like other reviewers mentioned, but I put a few fabric softener sheets inside the main compartment & pockets and aired it out for a few days in the garage, and the smell was gone! I ordered 2 colors - the purple (which is actually a beautiful lilac color) and the brown one. The brown was too old/dull looking for me, and the purple is rather quite elegant-looking. I returned the brown and kept the purple. It is the BEST diaper backpack for my 3 & 5 year olds. There are so many pockets. In the main compartment, I can fit extra pair of clothes for both my kids, pull-ups, wipes, first-aid kit, my personal belongings, medium sized bag full of snacks, activity bag for the kids, and there is still room for more. It can hold any sized water bottles in the side pockets (my kids’ 12 oz Thermos fit perfectly), which is hard to find in most diaper bags. I keep hand sanitizing wipes, my wallet, chapstick, pen, keys etc in the front pockets. The hidden pocket in the back is also very useful. Even with all that packed in, the backpack does not feel heavy at all. When I’m not with my kids, I carry it over my shoulder like a purse and have gotten a few compliments already on how nice it is. I can’t wait to order another color!

I had a similar backpack purse that lasted me YEARS!! I will now ONLY buy backpack purses. I take my purse almost everywhere with me and having a backpack purse has saved my back and neck a lot of pain. I got the cream colored one and it's very chic looking. I like that because it's kind of a neutral color, if you wanted to have fun with it, you can buy a colorful strap to be the shoulder strap on it. I like that the back straps are made of the fake leather material instead of the seatbelt type material because when you adjust the straps to where you like the backpack, they actually stay put. I love the security pocket on the back so you can slip your phone in there and still easily access it while your purse is still on your back. I love the pockets inside and out to keep my things organized. It's a good size and fits A LOT! I'm one of those people that like to be prepared with all "the things" when I'm out and about. Since I have 4 kids, this is pretty essential. This purse checked all the boxes for me. I wish there were more fun color options, but I'm happy so far with the style and quality. I really hope it holds up as well as my last purse did!!

I was initially impressed with the care in which this bag was packaged. I has to open 3 layers of sealed bags the last being cloth. This company takes great care in protecting it product. Once I opened the last bag and pulled out the purse I was delighted in how soft and beautiful it is. The leather is soft and supple with a satin finish. There is no smell as you get with some leather products. It is very well made with large zippers that move easily and are sewn in well. Main compartment of bag is very roomy. The fabric in side the bag is a nice cotton/canvas that is sewn well and has a smooth silky feel and sheen to it. Alot of love and care went into making this. It is not like those ones you get where half the stitching is crooked and pockets not sewn all way or threads are not trimmed. It's very well made. Pockets...let's talk pockets! This bag has many pockets which allows you to be very organized. Pockets are inside as well as outside. The only complaint about pockets is just one in particular. There is a pocket on back of bag that goes side to side instead of top to bottom and is not very deep. Now if it went top to bottom the depth would not be an issue. But side to side things will fall out it just seems to be awkward. The saving grace to this might be making the pocket deeper for concealed carry owners to put their gun. It's really hard to find a purse that is cut and stylish that has this feature. I carry myself and was hoping it would fit as it would be perfect but the pocket needs to be about three inches deeper. The width of the pocket is perfect just not deep enough. This bag would sell like crazy to female gun owners if that alteration was there. Beyond that the bag is amazing. I will keep you updated on how it wears as it is faux leather. I'm hoping it doesn't peel off like the other bags I have had. So far, I highly recommend buying this bag! Feb 7 2019 Update..Still absolutely loving this bag. I have bragged andxshown it off so much my sister bought 2 my niece bought 2 and even my mother purchased one. Total 5 bags!!! I am actually going to purchase a second one myself! I use it everyday and have had it stuffed full of personal items, work folders, iPad etc and it seriously shows no sign of wear. It has gotten wet once on outside and I simply wiped it off and all is well. Zippers, seams, straps, pockets everything are just as well as day i first received it. If your looking for this type of purse/bag..you are crazy not to get this one! The red is a rich oxblood and the taupe color is a true taupe not an off brown. Still give it 5 stars!!!

Truly obsessed with this bag. I needed a new bag to replace my old backpack (used as an everyday purse alternative) but I intentionally picked this bag out to match my outfit for the renaissance faire. First of all, it matches my outfit perfectly, but the bag itself is so well made and roomy! I was worried the medium would be too small to hold everything I plan to bring to the faire, but I’ll have plenty of room! There’s so many pockets too which is great for organizing all the types of things I like to carry with me. The main storage pocket is very deep and flat on the bottom. I smuggled in a couple of containers of sushi, drinks, and candy to the movie theater today and everything fit nicely in there, on top of all the other things I always have in my purse. The only con I’ll mention, which may be important to some people, is the material of the bag is heavy, so filling the bag with stuff will make it feel even heavier. That’s not an issue for me being able to wear it as a backpack, which I plan to do anyway. The straps are comfortable so even when filled completely and heavy, you’re not hurting your shoulders. Highly recommend this bag. I searched Amazon for hours trying to find the perfect one and I’m so glad I went with this one. I could see myself ordering a couple more in different colors to match different outfits. And I never buy duplicates of things like this. That’s how much I love this bag.
