So far, this device has shortened the duration of my zits. I am waiting to see if in the long run, it'll reduce the oiliness in my skin. I first tried using the blue light with the cleanser brush when washing my face, but found that I prefer to wash my face first and then use the blue light alone. You have eye goggles that you should use when you have the blue light on, which is why I prefer just wash my face first. After washing my face, I take off the brush part, put on the goggles, and apply the blue light to problematic areas. The zits seem to shrink overnight, instead of getting worse, which is usually the pattern for me. There is a warm heat when you apply the blue light that's actually kind of relaxing. I'm excited to see how this will affect my oily skin over time. I have PCOS, so my skin is like an oil slick within a couple hours of washing, and I've had to use oil control products for the majority of my life. This acne light cleaning brush comes with couple of soft head attachments. I tried it in my hands for the first time to patch test and had no issues with the product. The unit itself is well built and well presented. Unfortunately, per the instruction manual the product is not intended to use with severe pimples. I mainly brought it to use it in one area of my skin where the acne is concentrated and I didn’t pay attention to this minute details when I ordered it. The product is intended to use with mild and moderate acne. Wish I had paid attention to this detail before ordering. I still give this product 5 stars for the quality, presentation and the patch test that didn’t cause any irritation. ... show more

    • Calming and relaxing
I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I was a bit skeptical in the beginning to admit that blue light might actually help with my acne. However after using it for quite some time now I do feel like it has made a difference in how long the pimples stay on my face and also the proper breakout of new pimples. I sometimes just use the brush as I’m washing my face and I won’t use the blue light function and then other times I will use the blue light function after I’ve already washed my face and I really like the calm and soothing sensation that it has because it has a slight warmth to it. The bristles are not too harsh on the face or the skin either. I always use the glasses when I use the blue light function.
