This is a really nice DA polisher, especially for the price point. Very ergonomic feeling handle and light weighbt vs. some I've used that were more uncomfortable after a while. Plenty of speed and power when you need it. I've done correction on one complete large SUV so far with good results. The only knock from me are the pads that come with...they work fine but only lasted for one use and are torn up. Be prepared with a set of quality pads and you are set!

I unpacked and turned it on, but have not yet used it on a car. Included pads are of good quality. The motor is a typical brush motor, do not use the tool near flammable vapors. The tool feels a bit heavy and it produces considerable noise at high speed. The On/Off switch has a very convenient design -- you push it down slightly and slide to lock/unlock. Locking hinges though are just plastic bumps on the case. I'd suspect them to wear out eventually, which would prevent locking in the ON position. The tool is not a 6-speed tool. Rotation speed can be smoothly adjusted continuously! The wheel has 6 positions, but it moves freely and you can set it to any speed in the range. The tool is currently sold with a 50% coupon, great value at that price. Without the discount you can find less expensive tools that work just as well. This is not a tool for daily professional use, but for occasional use in the garage, it is perfect.

This is a nice polisher, its a bit heavy if your older but i think i will persevere and get used to the weight as i give my old Lexus a birthday. I am interested to see if the action is better than a standard one. Should last a long time. Having no battery is a plus as it keeps the weight down.

The buffer itself does just what it's supposed to do. The only negative to it is the vibrations. On a scale from 1 to 10, it's about a seven. I have read there are ways to fix that. One you can change out the pad on the buffer the backing plate itself, and to completely disassemble it and put a quality grease in it. I haven't done that yet. That being said, it's a brush tool, it has a variable speed from 1 to 6. It comes with multiple handles, and multiple buffing pads. It comes with an extra set of brushes, and the wrench to get the backing plate off. The buffer itself weighs about 4 lb even, without either handle attached. The cord is about 10 ft long, and the throw on the polisher is 9 mm.

This polisher is easy enough to operate for car and boat washes at home. It's easy to hold and doesn't wear out my arms. It has a nice assortment of pads that are a good size for detail work, but too small for a whole vehicle, in my opinion. Overall, it's a really well performing tool, and I will get good use out of it.

Like the title says any home diyer would love to add this to there car detailing tools collection. for the price your right in line with any big name brand and you get the addition of a few free buffing/polishing pads as well. works great seems to have plenty of power and love the multiple hand holding options as well. love this buffer and it will be getting a lot of use over the years to come highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. This dual action polisher feels like a good quality product that should last me for a while. It is easy to setup and easy to change out the pads which are velcro based. I did notice a bit of vibration in my hands the higher the rpms. Also, it is noisy but I don't know if it's a normal noise level for these types of polishers. Co.es with the tools needed to change the backer pad and handles. Overall a good tool to have.

I was fairly impressed with the overall quality of this unit. Nice parts and well fitted. A sliding ON switch that took a minute to figure out, (press on the back half of the switch, it will pivot and slide forward over the pins. Then it can be locked in the run position. Good length of cord and comes with a loop handle and a straight handle, Smooth speed control. This is a DA, duel action polisher. I have a dual action buffer and have done cars and boats with it, it works well but this design actually gives you better hold on the tool with less fatigue and more control. That buffer is a 10 inch and this is a 6 inch The 6 will get in tighter spaces but the 10 will work a big area faster. I might try using both on my boat next time. All these things really do is take the arm work out of moving the pads around and of course they will be much faster than your arm and do a better job of moving material and blending it. If you don't like these pads you can easily buy other types and swap them out. You can get them at your local auto parts. Compounding, polishing, and all that other good stuff takes a bit of learning to get it right. There are lots of videos on YouTube that can help you get the best results for all your hard work and a shine that will really wow them. With this machine and using the right compounds and waxes you can take the most weather beaten paint or gelcoat and make it shine like new again.
