It isn't often I lavish praise on a product for both its form and function. But this tablet stand definitely deserves that praise. The design is very simple, but effective. Assembly is required, but the parts are friction fitted together. The parts only fit in one way, so there is no confusion. The construction, fit and finish, and the powder coating is immaculate. The assembled product looks aesthetically pleasing. There is only one stand, but two holders are included -- a phone holder and a tablet holder. Pick either one to suit your needs. The tension on the points of articulation can be adjusted with included hex keys (aka Allen wrenches). The round covers that conceal the points of articulation have to be pried open to expose the hex screws. The covers are magnetically attached, so they will come off fairly easily -- the trick is gaining enough leverage to pry them off. I recommend using a guitar pick or some kind of flat and stiff object. I'm quite impressed with the product. Definitely a full 5 stars! Recommended. ... show more

Construction: The clamp is solid. The arm assembly is foolproof with slots in the extruded material that ensure proper connection. Fit is very snug. Design: Arms and hinges are trim. Light and unobtrusive. Clamp is non-marking with large knob. Light color fits in unobtrusively. Hinge covers are magnetic. This was a great way to make the covers. Tip one off, make adjustment, and just drop it back on. The adjustment cover looks exactly like the opposite hinge side and suffers no wear and tear. Initially, two hinges were loose for my use, but easily tightened to satisfactory tension. Comes with tablet and phone sized mounts. Both look and work well and include some overhang to allow it to be inverted without dropping the phone/tablet. If I could make any change, it would be to allow one or both of the arm segments to be reversible. The two hinges bend the same direction, each 0-180 degrees. The base joint has -90-+90 degree bend and the ball joint at least -45-45 degrees. But it's not possible to bend both of the inner joints to anything more than 180 since they block each other. And in normal use, probably ~120 is the most you'd use. Other competing products have one hinge reversed or make a negative angle possible on one hinge, more of a W arrangement than paper-clip bends. This is a long way toward saying I wish that the fitted extruded metal had allowed one arm to connect backward. That alone would allow the unit to be assembled with a reversed hinge. I appreciate the solid design but would prefer easily added versatility. But overall, it's purpose made and well done. ... show more

Got this for my son's desk so he could use his tablet while working on schoolwork/projects. Easy to assemble and has multiple adjustment points. I like the idea of the magnetic covers at the joints for hiding the bolt heads. Once I got everything tightened, the stand works well without any drooping or sagging. ... show more

High quality material and super easy to adjust. The arm looks real clean with magnetic caps to hide the screws to adjust the tightness of the joints. The clamp is plenty big enough to cover most table and desk thicknesses. Only suggestion to the design would be to alternate the direction of one of the joints so the arm can be easily folded up for storage. As it is, either the mount or the clamp will get in the way when you fold the arm up. But it's a minor thing, the arm will be out to be used most of the time anyway. ... show more
