So I love this mattress great for the price I took it out it didn't expand right away but I gave it about 2 hours and started to see results withing 6 hours it was ready to lay on but I waited a full 48 hours I've had this mattress for about 4 weeks now and I sleep like a baby I have a lot of back pain and sleep on my stomach so I like a firm bed so I don't sink in overall great bed easy to set up and take out of the box love love love when I get my daybed I'm getting the twin mattress for it ... show more

It does take a full 24 hours for it to fill. At first it seemed really small but after 24 hours it was nice, full and comfortable to sleep on

This bed is close to hard as a rock. There's hardly any give in the foam and it definitely does not contort to your body in any way. My whole body hurts sleeping on this mattress. I've had medium firm mattress before and this one is definitely 100% firm.

Like another user said, I let the bed unfold and expand , I even unzipped the protective bed cover that comes with it to make sure no sides were being held down and it could expand even more freely. But it still only expanded to 8 inches (and exactly 8 inches nothing more or less). It’s a great and comfortable bed overall which is why I still rated it a 4, but I’d have saved the money and got an 8 inch instead of the 10 inch that claims to be bigger but isn’t. ... show more
