I previously left a review that I see isn't posted. My item arrived with the Amazon box broken and exactly where the box was broken, the luggage was too. It was delivered broken and I informed the company of this, and they replaced my luggage in 2 days. The 2nd one came, and it is exactly as described. It is carry-on size (overhead compartment), comes with a double zipper, has a built in locking mechanism (3-digit lock code) and has a 2-tiered handle expander. Inside the suitcase comes your personal bag (bookbag), which is big enough to put under your seat, which has a strap on the back to slide it onto your carry-on suitcase. This definitely makes it easier to travel as you can connect the bookbag to your suitcase and simply steer your luggage, bookbag intact. Inside the bookbag, is another bag which would be a travel toiletry bag. So, this comes with the 3 bags,as advertised. Also, I love the color choices available, with trim, because they sort of stand out from other colored suitcases, especially if the same color.

Bought this set for my son for a trip to Colorado. It was the perfect size and held everything together. Admittedly we did not use the lock function but we did not purchase this one specifically for that. Highly recommended!

This hard-side suitcase is a standard design - interior has one side with the U-shaped zipper opening and the other side with the cross straps. The wheels are quiet and very smooth over multiple surfaces - hardwood, tile, carpet. The handle extends easily with the push button and has the ability to lock into place at three different heights, which makes this a great suitcase for smaller travelers, too. For the other two items in the set, the toiletry bag is a reasonable size to hold bathroom items or used for electronics and charging cords, though probably not at the same time. The backpack is small with minimal pockets, the laptop sleeve really sized for a tablet without much additional padding to protect the device. I prefer a backpack to a tote bag just for the ability to be hands-free if it isn't sitting on the hard-side suitcase.

I like that this is a 3-pc set, which is everything I need to pack for a short 2 to 3-day trip. The smaller size of the backpack qualifies for a personal item for airlines regulations, in addition to the compact luggage which also qualifies for most airlines’ carry-on luggage size restrictions. The cosmetic bag is good for any smaller items such as electronic accessories and/or cosmetics. * The wheeled luggage: it’s a standard design, just like any other luggage in this size range. It offers a TSA lock which I normally don’t use but it could be helpful if your luggage is not stowed near you during the flight. I deducted one star from this luggage because the plastic parts, especially the parts that connect the wheels to the body of the luggage, look very low grade, kind of flimsy. Usually the low-end luggage’s wheels are the first thing to break due to the weak constructions. Therefore this is something I pay extra attention to. * The backpack: this is a cute backpack due to its small size. Unless you need a large bag for a larger laptop, I do like this compact bag for my iPad Air and everything else I normally stored in my purse. This way I don’t have to worry about going over the airlines’ personal item restrictions, and I use it in lieu of a regular purse when traveling so that I don’t need to carry another purse. The only thing to watch out for is the side pockets; they might not be big enough for larger water bottles. * The cosmetic bag: it has a roomy interior with a zippered pocket inside. I use it for storing the chargers and power banks for my iPhone and iPad Air. And plenty of room for small travel sized cosmetics and bathing accessories. All in all, I liked this luggage set. If the price (at time of purchase) stays the same even with tariff, then it’s a good buy.
