This desk is a good choice for those who don't want to spend a ton but have to have some work space. This desk is perfect for a small space, has enough work area and helpful canvas shelves which are the norm these days. I'm squarely average when it comes to putting things together and build was easy enough for one person. You can decide to set the shelves up on the right side or the left side, there are instructions for both ways. Pros: great value, you can spend a lot more but why; one person can set this up with no problems. Cons: (and this is my fault) you can't put too much weight on one side or it becomes prone to tipping over. In my case my two work monitors mounted on a monitor arm pushed away from the desk so it's not too close. Under normal circumstances this would not be an issue :) ... show more

I really like the looks of it. It’s cute and simple yet it stands out. Two of the drawers were chipped but very minor so barely noticeable unless you really look. I just got it today so I’ll see how it lasts on the long run. Two pieces did not fit when building it, don’t know where it goes and instructions were not clear on those specific pieces (G). I question the sturdiness of the desk… kinda moves to the sides a bit so I would just try not to bump into it too hard. I’m sure it has to do with those two specific pieces. (Only reason I put it 4 stars) The drawers are a decent size, paperwork and notebooks fit perfectly. I think it’s a great price! Overall I love it and would recommend. ... show more

The only issue I have, which I can absolutely get over for how little I paid for this product, is that the color grey isn't grey at all. It's obviously brown, and no I didnt get the one labeled brown on accident. Still a five star review as everything else is exactly like it said it'd be, and it even arrived earlier than expected. I did not have the issue with screws going through the top like some other people. If you use the right screws in the right spots, like the instructions tell you to, you wont have any issues. The instructions are insanely easy to follow. The size is smaller than I wanted, but I didn't look fully at the depth dimension, but 100% my fault. It's at a comfortable height for my chair (standard computer chair). Not for long term use I would think, but enough to get me though college I'm sure. ... show more

For the price, it’s fine. Would I buy it again? No. It was pretty easy to put together. I did it by myself with my 6 and 8yo “helping”. It seems sturdy. Looks okay. I don't love that the shelves are fabric. I thought I wouldn’t mind but now that it’s put together, I don’t think they will last. Where the wood meets the metal of the front of the shelf is going to get torn up quickly. One was already dinged up out of the box. I also don’t love that the top is 2 different pieces. Even a perfectionist couldn’t line them up seamlessly. We will see how long it lasts. ... show more
