This is a very good price for a non-particleboard wood table/desk. However, there are a few caveats, none of which would stop me from buying it again. Just...know what to expect. The wood top is 15mm / almost 19/32 inch thick (ie 1mm less than 5/8 inch). Just thick enough for 1/2 inch keyboard tray screws. Pros: Real wood top + metal frame and legs. Small size but not too small. About the width of a wide keyboard tray so it's perfect for a small at home workstation area, especially if you use an under-table keyboard tray. The wood surface is stained and "distressed", meaning they took a blowtorch to it, then sanded & finished it. Cons: It's really cheaply made as far as materials go. While it is real wood, the wood is somewhere between a very lightweight pine and balsa. But it does hold screws for an under-table keyboard tray so it must be dense enough. The metal frame attaches via threaded inserts in the wood. Speaking of the metal frame, it's made of that sort of really soft steel where nothing is perfectly aligned like modern flat pack, but if you put it together loosely & then tighten everything up, it works good. I did have one frame member with bad threads. It looked like a tiny drop of welding slag cooled onto the threads of the captured nut. It took 30 minutes of careful filing to remove it. Probably one in a million chance of that happening. The screws and frame are made of such soft metal I think their ductile nature is half of what keeps everything tight. But again, it works and can be repaired later if it works loose. The supplied hex key is made of the same soft steel and almost lasted the entire project before stripping out. If the keyboard tray screws do strip out of the wood eventually, the soft frame metal means I can easily cut a shelf board to fit inside the frame, drill holes through the desk frame rails & capture the board from the edges with screws to remount the tray. Overall, I got exactly what I was expecting for the price and I'm happy with it. It gave me pretty much exactly the trouble I thought I'd get for the price and if not for the one bad thread it would've been a 45 minute assembly done leisurely.     • Scratches wicked easily!!!!
When I put the desk together, there was some residue on the surface. No problem, just grabbed a sponge and some mild soap to wash it down. WRONG. The laminate is so soft that my sponge SCRATCHED it. Disappointed :/

My two teenage kids share a 10x12 room and I bought two of these desks and prayed they would fit. They arrived early, were easy to assemble and fit perfectly without being bulky or in the way. I recommend this item as it is cost effective, looks great and is sturdy.

    • Wrong color, wrong size screws, wrong side of the tabletop!

I wanted white, is it not white. I think they made a mistake and used the wrong side of the top; it is awful while the wrong side is good. I have no time to return so I'm keeping it. My husband had an easy time putting it together, but they had the wrong screws, said to use silver screws but they were too long and would have poked thru the top. There were four black screws that fit perfectly. He ended up painting the tabletop to cover all the knots and imperfections. Let's see when it dries if it actually holds my computer! Why I regard this desk as a useless and invaluable product, I missed two parts when I received it. I don’t want waste time to return and order a new one. Thanks for the tedious inconvenient return service, so customers will address the problem by themselves and then seller always wins.

    • Nice for the price
Very decent for the price. Don’t expect the finish of the top to be amazing for the white one, it almost looks a little chalky and had some glue residue but nothing that wasn’t manageable. I’d recommend this desk for sure in another color top!

This is a really noce product. The desk is well packaged with a detailed manual, super easy for assembling, as it is very light and I can install every thing by myseld and it only took me about 20 mins to get everything done. The desk is in a good quality and I really like the color!
