Bought this desk for my 9y/o Daughter's room. Its compact size was perfect for the space we had available. It was shipped in a sturdy /compact box and arrived in good condition. The desk was surprisingly easy to assemble and is light weight and easy to move. Despite its light weight, it is very sturdy. A surprise to me (perhaps from not reading the description well) was that the forward facing drawers are a canvas material similar to the collapsable cubes you use for the wall units. This keeps the weight down on the desk and actually makes things a bit quieter, especially with all of the items my daughter throws in the drawer. It has a nice side pocket for books and craft items as well as a small hook for her headphones. This desk was a great value for the price paid and would recommend for kids rooms. A con would be due to the narrow detentions of the desk and the light weight, I would be hesitant to put anything too heavy on it (ie. larger computer or monitor). ... show more

I purchased this for myself to use as a vanity. It was fairly easy to assemble although initially I installed the drawer “slides” wrong, but it was an easy fix. The media could not be loaded. All the pieces were delivered and nothing was damaged. All tools and screws were placed and all of them had an extra for just case in case moments. I had a little help but honestly anyone could put it together by themselves. The drawers are foldable material so they were a breeze to put together. Also the mirror DID NOT come with this desk. The overall rating compared to the features is at odds for one reason. The frame, for the price is excellent. The top is beautiful. The fabric drawers were a surprise a nice one. However the drawer facings were lousy. They are flimsy and do no credit to an otherwise nice item and alone bring the overall rating down. That frame is robust enough that you could build light drawers and top for it. For a five star change those drawer facings. The features save one are excellent. ... show more

Love this desk so far. Didn't need a big desk and just a little one for small space and it works and fits perfectly. I assembled myself and took me about 45 minutes to put together. The instructions was pretty easy to follow and the labels on each part was extremely helpful. It is sturdy for the most part and is well built and happy with the quality so far. I do agree if the drawers were made out of wood would be better but I don't plan on putting lots of stuff in them and be light weight anyway so should be just fine and will hold up pretty good.
