Instructions were simple to follow. I'm a big guy and hesitate sitting in some rockers, but not these. They're solid. When we got the chairs but not the table, I contacted the company. I bought these rocking chairs and was impressed with the engineering and ease of assembly. They are strong and heavy and roomy. But they are uncomfortable on the back which can be solved with cushions. The table could be higher but its functional.
