Very heavy duty and well made chairs. I believe these chairs will be durable outdoors. Wood grain looks realistic and we like the dark grey color. Well packed but heavy package. My only reservation in recommending these to everyone is that they were a challenge to put together even though the instructions were clear and all the parts were labeled and easy to find. The first one I did took 90 minutes and was a real workout. Mostly uses a fairly small Allen wrench which was difficult to use in getting the bolts tightened securely. I had to use a cheater bar on the wrench or else my hands would have cramped up. I figured out after the first one that it was much easier to complete step one if I drilled out the hole where the screw inserts. Without that, I was exhausted in placing the four initial screws. I was afraid I was going to strip the hex on the screw and not be able to seat it all the way. I finally was able to assemble four chairs and the result was very gratifying. I LOVE these rocking chairs!! Easy to follow instructions. Took 1 hour each to assemble, due to allen wrench hurting my thumb to bruising took a break assembling both. They are beautiful! Rock is smooth. Price is reasonable! Absolutely, I do recommend!!

The holes and screws lined up well. I decided to open the box with the two rockers and was pleasantly surprised to see how well it was packaged! Very well thought out packing material and the pieces were very well protected. The instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow. These chairs are wonderful, definitely give them a 5 star review, granted they are new and they don’t have a lot of front porch miles on them yet, but they seem sturdy and very spacious! They have completely idiot-proofed the assembly instructions, no additional tools required, it comes with what you need. It probably took 30-45 minutes to assemble each chair. Navy really isn’t Navy-it’s a darker Royal blue-that’s fine-I can deal with it. SHIPPING. Good gracious! Other reviewers have made similar comments-so my experience was not a fluke. I ordered (2) chairs. They ship separately, not in 1 box . I got 1 on JANUARY 11 the other came on FEBRUARY 6th. When I got the first one, I contacted the seller, and asked where the second one was. I was told to “wait” and provided a different tracking number that eventually FedEx wasn’t able to provide any information for. So Jan 31st I contacted the seller again, and the second chair was shipped and delivered. I don’t know if FedEx is the problem or the shipping process is the problem. However when your order arrives nearly a month apart, and others complained about the same issue-there’s a problem. My dilemma is I want 2 more chairs for my front porch so they all match….do I dare try and order another set???? ... show more

These came with a break in the back, part A, in the exact same place. One message to the seller and two new chairs were delivered as a replacement very quickly. Easy to assemble.
