I am so pleased with these stools. They are comfortable and are exactly what I was looking for. It took me approximately 10-15 mins. to put each one together. The directions are simple; flip over x-shaped piece, attach legs, attach ring; attach seat. That's it. Easy! The best part is the stools use the same size screw for each part. Love it! When our kitchen barstools' fabric started to stain and look really warn, I knew it was time to replace them. With those two components going bad, I knew I would also have to upgrade to prevent another quick degradation in design. I chose the Lue Bona barstools because I wanted something affordable, a 4 pack to fit along the middle island of my kitchen, and a darker, washable type fabric. I also didn't want the rotating or high back style of stool due to my children often spinning and hitting the countertop edge with the back portion. The leather fabric not only looks really nice and has attractive stitching, but they can be cleaned and sanitized much easier. Essentially, all one would need to do is wipe them down with clorox wipe. The height is perfect for my needs which is 24 inches from the ground. Each leg has a self leveler which I did have to use on opposing points to prevent the stool from rocking. Assembly took approximately 5 minutes per stool using an electric driver bit. However, it could also be done with the provided allen key. The attachment points are all very accessible and anyone could do this assembling. Keep in mind, don't try and put the legs on inside of the 4 way understool bracket. I made that mistake the first time and quickly realized that the ring would not fit at that point. Some pressure is needed putting the ring in between the four legs and aligning.
