Impressed with the quality of these chairs! Easy assembly, they look high end. Please note, we ordered 4, they came in two boxes of 2, and were delivered on 2 different days by FEDEX. Don't be like me and call Amazon 2 minutes after delivery, give it day!

Simple, comfortable and look nice. They look much more expensive than they are. We had another set of metal by Amisco that were not to our liking at all. Reviews were high (not sure why) but we hated them from day one. Once opened with most stools the expense of return shipping isn't worth it. We loved these right out of the box. Easy assemble too. One leg was a bit damaged. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement within a week. The Amisco stools were 3 times the cost of these but we are happy with the Lue Bona stools. Ours actually measured 25" high which is perfect. Easy to cut down the legs but I doubt we'll ever need to. Highly recommend these reasonable priced stools.

Nice stools, some assembly required though! Instructions were good. Overall I am happy with the look of these and find them mostly comfortable to sit on. My only complaint is that, and why I dropped one star, is that the back of these are both way too low and more importantly, angled too far back for my liking. I fully get that a stool like this might have a low back, but when it's angled like it is, you cannot use the back at all. Other than the back, I'm very happy with these so far.

I so wanted to give this a higher review. These stools are beautiful and sturdy once assembled. BUT, and this is a big but, as a cpl other reviewers have mentioned the holes in the metal support braces for 1 of the 2 stools we bought were improperly threaded. We stripped the screws trying to force them. We took them to my father-in-law who is handy to see if he'd have more success. He just happened to have a drill press and was able to make the holes bigger. However we then had to go to a hardware store and buy new screws to proceed with assembling it. Once we got by this rather major issue assembly was fairly simple and straight forward. However if you don’t have a drill press available to you I’d think twice before purchasing. But then again only a few of us have seemed to have this issue so maybe it’s worth the gamble to you. They are pretty and sturdy once assembled. The back of the seat isn’t quite as high as my previous stools and I miss that extra support so be sure and be aware and perhaps note the measurements if that matters to you. Oh also we did try contacting the company once we realized there was an issue and basically received a message that we would have to use Rufus and go thru Amazon. When we tried that Rufus simply gave us the company contact information so basically that was a round robin of the buck being passed back and forth between Amazon and the company!

Stools are sturdy and comfortable, and have a high quality appearance. The base plates were not drilled properly so the screws would not fit. I tried to thread them through and it just stripped the threads, so I ended up widening the holes with my drill press and 1/4" bit. Assembly with an impact driver took 2 hours for 4 stools (including a half-hour to remove all the packaging). The bolts are metric hex head. You could probably get by with a standard hex set, but I'd recommend getting a metric set to avoid stripping any heads.
