It takes two people to install but it is not difficult and works perfectly. You need to turn the bed frame upside down for install, that is really the only difficult part. It keeps the mattress far enough away from the headboard that adjusting the mattress up or down id flawless, no catching or rubbing on the headboard. ... show more

    • HEADBOARD BRACKETS LET THE HEADBORD FLOP AROUND
The headboard brackets are very poorly designed. They do not hold the headboard in place securely. The headboard can flop around and pivot about 15 inches away from the bed. These brackets are not strong enough to hold the headboard in place. I cant believe they will actually ship these brackets because they DO NOT hold the headboard in place. If they ever instal;led these brackets, they would have immediately observed that they are too thin abd flimsy to secure the headboard. My adjustable bed frame was not made for a head board, but I found two bolts on the frame and with the headboard mounting plates and these brackets I was able to make it work. After weeks of searching for a solution I was glad I found this.
