This is my third LOTOS plasma cutter, and they've all been reliable and straightforward to operate. The 63A output is plenty for cutting through thinner stainless steel gauges without slowing down, and on mild steel it handles everything I've thrown at it cleanly. The standout feature on this model is the non-HF (high-frequency) pilot arc start, if you're planning to connect to a CNC table, non-HF is essential because HF starts interfere with CNC electronics. My other 2 lotos cutters were really big and heavy. one had the built in compressor, and the other was 85A, so i was pleasantly surprised at how small and light this one was. Drag-cut capability makes freehand work on sheet metal much easier since you can rest the torch right on the workpiece. LOTOS customer support has been responsive and helpful across multiple interactions over the years, which matters when you're running a machine that sees regular use. this might seem a little expensive compared to some of the other cheaper cutters on the market, but when you factor in the included features like non-hf start and lotos excellent customer support, i think its worth the money.

Pictures included with review. The unit is compact with a very easy-to-read display panel. Easy to make adjustments to the settings. The manual leaves a lot to be desired, but if you are familiar with metalworking equipment, it is not hard to figure out. I like that it comes with a proper air compressor fitting for the U.S., so no adaptors need to be purchased, or the connectors refitted. The torch handle is of nice quality, and the torch lead is longer than others. Unfortunately, my CNC is out of service so I could not test the CNC integration, but the cutter overall is very nice and works well. I will update the review if it fails to perform after I use it with CNC. II used a 50 220v supply for my test.

Like it so far only things stopping it from more stars is: The "Manual" is written for the LTP5500D, cut charts stop at 55amps, further it really only discusses the "Hand Held" cutter, there is ZERO information on the "Machine Torch". After research found a machine torch but it is ridiculous in price, over 400 bucks! (And you cannot get it on Amazon, what is the point of selling a CNC plasma cutter and you can't get the dang Machine torch)! Also, you can only get a 0.9mm cutting tip, ZERO options for smaller fine cut tips, and technically 0.9 is max rated to 45 amps, so you would need a 1.0 or 1.1 to get up to the full 63amps. Using the 0.9 tips when going over the amps will wear out much faster. The Replacement tips for these machines are way to expensive for what they are. Again, per usual for Chinese manufactured stuff, the Manual is POOR! Why is it, that they can't or won't make a good product users manual?

This plasma cutter is very nice. It works very well. It cuts very smoothly and straight. You have to make sure that you have an air compressor that can send continuous air, and a 240-volt plug.
