I tried the Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) kit and was able to pull a little bit out with it. Directions are not good and don't explain how to use in clear language. I was able to get instructions on the procedure on YouTube. There are more tools you need to do the job right. Overall a good buy but instructions and tools.

I spend 10-15 minutes just trying to remove the glue afterwards, and using, most successfully, a single-edge razor blade scraper, which of course, is a recipe for disaster.....Also, I managed to mostly remove ONE dent, which was a simple hand sized dent on a quarter panel/fender which is thin sheet metal...So really, the device paid for itself already as I'm sure a PDR guy would have charged a lot more...There is NO hand puller and I think that is a short coming...I think they should have included one....Main problem I am having is that the dents are on a door, right where the door angles downwards, and also, the puller breaks free from the glue before it does any pulling of the dent....And I am left with a quarter sized clump of glue to remove afterwards, so I know I'm using enough glue...I may use standard glue sticks instead to see if they are easier to remove...

I had a brand new rental car that I accidentally bumped into a pole. I was freaking about potential charges/paneities. I decided to try this since it was cheaper than paying a professional. I'm happy to say that my dent restoration job was a success. It's done by me, an amatuer, so it was 100% perfect, but it was good enough to not get noticed by a rental car company. You do need a lot of time and patience to pull the dent. It's hard, but just takes some time and effort. It's a great tool set to keep in your garage.
