Description

In 1990, Arthur Liao invested 350 Euros and started building helmets in a house under 600 square feet with one employee. That vision grew into a 330,000 sq ft factory producing more than 2 million helmets a year — with a dedicated North American warehouse in Chicago, Illinois serving riders across the US and Canada. Built and refined in-house. Start Your Journey. Helmets, jackets, pants, and gloves — LS2 builds gear for every type of rider, from daily commutes to track days. As an authorized LS2 dealer, every order comes with genuine product and real support behind it. LS2's AREM technology has stood up to harsh and rigorous lab testing — proven to keep you and your head safe. The Stream II is built for riders who refuse to compromise — a twin visor system, Pinlock-ready shield, and fully removable washable liner, all in a lightweight full-face built for the long haul.

  • Best helmet under $300. My new favorite Best helmet under $300. My new favorite
Size: Large Color: Matte Black
At last, a helmet that I just love wearing! With a 58.5cm head, size Large is a perfect match for me. This helmet is simply amazing; the material quality far exceeds its price point. The comfort and interior design are comparable to my $325 challenger gt helmet. Plus, the removable pads can easily go in the washing machine, and the moisture-wicking interior keeps me dry, while air vents on the front and back ensure great airflow inside. I've been searching for a low-profile full-face helmet that provides safety and looks fantastic while cruising around town in a tank top. I can't stand heavy bobblehead helmets that come in one shell size for small to XXL. The LS2 Stream 2, however, offers three shell sizes, ensuring that you get the perfect fit for your body type without looking oversized. Fit is crucial when selecting a helmet, so remember to measure your head multiple times and carefully consider the size you need. For me, at 58.5cm, the Large size fits absolutely flawlessly. You know you've got the right fit when you can put the helmet on and pretend to chew gum without discomfort. If your molars touch your cheeks, then it's a good fit. The cheek pads will naturally mold to your face over time and can loosen up by up to 20%, so a snug fit is essential, but there should be no pressure or hot spots after wearing it for 15 minutes. The helmet comes with a thick 3mm face shield that is crystal clear and very sturdy. The built-in drop-down sun visor is fantastic; I used to wear sunglasses every time, but now I simply flip down the visor and close the shield. ... show more

  • Great helmet for the $$ Great helmet for the $$
Size: Medium Color: Gloss White
I purchased this helmet after riding with a used Shoei helmet for a few months for comparison. My motorcycle is a cruiser and I've been using it with my windshield on, so can't speak on wind noise yet. I plan to remove the windshield once the weather is permanently warmer, so hopefully have an update on that soon. With a windshield, the noise reduction is good. I also installed bluetooth speakers, which probably helps. Pros: - I REALLY like that the inner visor seems to come down further than some other brands (see image) - weight is awesome for this price point, similar to my Shoei which is a much higher price point - quality construction: visor lock in the front/middle works well, visor hinges are solid and easy to remove/reinstall, micro adjust chinstrap is great, slider for inner visor is solid (although the placement means you almost have to use adhesive to install bluetooth?); see image for how I attached a bluetooth- maybe could have slipped behind the slider? - love the looks (bought white for summer riding- hopefully just a little cooler) - ventilation seems solid (either open or closed- one setting) - vents flow air decently (not sure you can "feel" a lot of air flow with any motorcycle helmet vents- similar to my Shoei) - dropdown visor is pretty good (I'd prefer darker, but seems like most are just the similar gray tinting) Not so much Cons, but things to consider: - sizing for my head said medium, I had to purchase XL cheek pads as the size that comes with Medium were unbearably tight - the XL cheek pads (again purchased separately- additional cost) are much better - the visor only has two "ratchet" positions- half and full open, so trying to vent just a bit for fogging works but is not a locked in position - probably similar with most helmets, but I installed a pinlock (additional cost) which works great until you put the dropdown visor down... which fogs up- and doesn't "unfog" for longer than the visor typically would at speed (small issue, but something to keep in mind) - I've tried to remove the chin curtain (included) and it doesn't want to come out. It's supposed to be removable, per the manual, but I've pulled hard enough that I was worried it would tear and it didn't budge. If I figure that out, I'll update with the noise report later. I'd probably get something without the additional dropdown visor if doing things over. It's just not dark enough for my taste and it fogs really easily- even in warmer weather when sitting. I'd prefer to just use sunglasses which do work with this helmet instead of putting down the inner visor. Not a deal breaker, just something to think about. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the LS2. It's comfortable (using a different size cheek pad) and all parts seem well built and designed. ... show more

  • Great looking helmet, and cost effective!
Size: 3X-Large Color: Gloss Vintage White/Blue/Red
Greeeeat helmet. I had a brake pad come off of a car in front of me on the highway. Helmet took it like a champ and saved my money maker! The company even helped with out with a warranty when the mouth piece broke off during that experience. If you live somewhere where the weather can cause condensation from your breath, look into getting a pin lock insert, with that installed the helmet has been made perfect for me. I enjoy the built in visor for when my sunglasses aren't completely cutting it, and my sunglasses fit comfortably while wearing the helmet which is a huge pro for me. The only con would be wind noise, but I sit high on my bike where the windscreen isn't blocking all of the air. I've also got long hair which breaks the seal around my neck, so at speed I notice the wind noise a lot more than just driving through the city. Could be me, could be the helmet, just something to be aware of. ... show more

  • Good basic helmet Good basic helmet
Size: Medium Color: Gloss White
I mostly bought this due to the ECE 22.06 rating, weight, and most of my ridding is in the city. So for all that I feel it is a good helmet for the level of comfort and protection. There are the smallest black paint imperfections, yet honestly nobody will see them when I ride. Plus for the price is really is light weight and has some good noise reduction. I am one of those in-between medium and large sizes, I went with the medium size and it is breaking in to a good fit. I am used to D-Rings, yet the strap isn't hard at all to get use to. I really enjoy the minimal gloss white with a bit shimmer it has to it. Plus the LS2 logo is nothing too crazy. Vents are good and I ride without a chin curtain as most of my rides are around town. Still even without it I like the extra air flow. I wear glasses and they work just fine, even with the drop down sun visor. I do wish the sun visor would drop down a bit more, yet I would still rather just use my glasses. ... show more

  • Protected me so well in a crash that I didn't even realize it had done anything.
Size: X-Large Color: Matte Black
I had a wreck where I came off the bike and rolled along the road into a guardrail. Immediately after the wreck, I was thinking, "I do remember hearing some scraping from the helmet against pavement." But I didn't think I hit that hard. I had no neck pain or anything. Not even so much as a mild headache. So I think I must have lightly dragged the helmet at some point while rolling. Then I watched the video and watched my head smack HARD into pavement as I was rolling. This helmet protected me so well that I thought it had barely hit the pavement when in fact it had done exactly what it was designed to do. It absorbed the impact so well that I wasn't even aware of how hard my head bounced until I watched the video later. Great helmet that sacrificed its own structural integrity to protect my skull. Would recommend. ... show more

  • Snug fit, size up. LOUD!
Size: XX-Large Color: Gloss Vintage White/Blue/Red
Negative; LOUD and fit was small. I ordered the size and circumference for every other helmet I've owned, and this is super tight around the eyebrow and cheeks. So loud I couldn't listen to music while riding. No ring for helmet lock on your bike. Had to carry it around. Ventilation was barely noticeable. Positive: Great color and finish. Visor worked well, sun visor was fine. Will be returning, and will consider other LS2 helmets maybe. ... show more
