- The interior is a soft technical fabric that wicks moisture to keep you cool and comfortable on those long days in the saddle. The rear spoiler and ported vents allow for dynamic, flow-through ventilation. The chin vent is ported to flow air to the rides face and assist with keep the shield free of fog.
- The face shield is made of optically correct Class A polycarbonate. The controls are easy to find and easy to use, even with a gloved hand. The chin bar flips up and out of the way for those breaks when you re checking a map or talking to friends. It has a solid detent at the top so it won t drop down when you don t want it to.

First off, the helmet fits well. I have a large head and many helmets do not provide the comfort for long rides. Unfortunately, the produce I received was probably a return that was hastily repackaged and sent out for resale. The face shield had large scratches vertically down the piece that someone tried to buff out - and this made it worse. Essentially unusable and dangerous. To add insult, the LS2 folks stuck the protective vinyl on top of these scratches and sent it back for sale. No worries or concerns here at all. The support team immediately sent out a replacement and the helmet is a beauty. Thanks for the great product and excellent support. Will purchase again.

Pulling the helmet out of the bag the rear air vent just fell off. Luckily it snapped into place so hopefully it just wasn’t in to begin with. The free pin lock is nice and the helmet is true to size. Internal sun visor does seem to vibrate itself down over time but not a huge deal yet.

I liked the helmet in the beginning. I listen to reviews and I got one size larger then suggested and it fit well. However if you need service or a part you are out of luck. There is just no service and just an email that "someone will contact you shortly..." which will never happened. The side visor cap flew off one day, and the other one was holding by one clip. I have barely any wind on the helmet so I have no idea how this can just come off unless it just poor design. Very disappointed UPADATE: The LS service finally came through and sent me 2 new visor caps so I update the service from "not existed" to 'Slow". I guess late then never. I think I will double tape those ones just for extra measure.

I like the LS2 Horizon is a good modular helmet for everyday communite. My head is 22inches/ 56cm oval head shape, and the Medium helmet size fits snug. I did not no like the "button" to raise the face shield, visor either locks fully open or close no in between, and is not the quietest helmet. I won't recommend it for super fast riding, but for touring or commuting. PROS: - Under $180 modular helmet with ECE & DOT rating. - comes with anti fog pin lock insert & nose shield. - Good ventilation - relatively light for a modular helmet ~ 3.8lbs - pads are removable for wash. CONS: - Not incremental notches for visor adjustments. - 3/5 on noise level not the quietest just average - The face shield button take a firm press and hold to move up.

Helmet fits well, is on the lighter side compared to other low priced helmets. Not much buffeting wind sound at Highway speed but once pads wear in I am expecting it to get louder. The tinted visor does walk itself down while riding but not much, maybe 1/2 inch on an hour ride. I would buy again and I will recommend this product.

I have used Nolan exclusively for 16 years, but they got progressively unable to ventilate properly. LS2 has that figured out, and has an excellent version of the helmet strap, like Nolan does. If you are still using the double d rings, climb out of the cave, and join us with electricity, running water and these helmet straps. It is a very comfortable helmet, with good noise levels.

Well, I bought this helmet 2 years ago. Two weeks ago, I woke up in the hospital after my rear tire blew out. This helmet probably saved my life. I don't remember anything of the crash, or any of the time even being on the bike. I do remember talking to my wife and getting ready to leave with her on it. The impact points for me were my shoulder (my collar bone is broken) and the side of my face (I have several fractures there). If I had not had it on, I firmly believe I would have been killed. Helmet visor broke off, but the jaw protector, while scuffed and scratched up, remained solid. The mechanism even still works, even though I know the helmet still should be replaced. Incidentally, my wife was wearing a different model LS2 helmet and it held up and protected her head as well. Her's was the one that the chin bar flips all the way to the back. Her chin bar helf up as well.
