Features

  • The interior is a soft technical fabric that wicks moisture to keep you cool and comfortable on those long days in the saddle. The rear spoiler and ported vents allow for dynamic, flow-through ventilation. The chin vent is ported to flow air to the rides face and assist with keep the shield free of fog.
  • The face shield is made of optically correct Class A polycarbonate. The controls are easy to find and easy to use, even with a gloved hand. The chin bar flips up and out of the way for those breaks when you re checking a map or talking to friends. It has a solid detent at the top so it won t drop down when you don t want it to.
  • The internal drop-down sunshield is cable actuated for a long life and ease of use. Everything you need and want in a modular helmet, offered at a great value from LS2. Meets or exceeds DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.05 certification.
  • High quality, removable, washable, technical fabric liner wicks moisture to keep you cool. 3D Laser-cut cheek pads for all day comfort with no hot spots.

First off, the helmet fits well. I have a large head and many helmets do not provide the comfort for long rides. Unfortunately, the produce I received was probably a return that was hastily repackaged and sent out for resale. The face shield had large scratches vertically down the piece that someone tried to buff out - and this made it worse. Essentially unusable and dangerous. To add insult, the LS2 folks stuck the protective vinyl on top of these scratches and sent it back for sale. No worries or concerns here at all. This is my first helmet, so I don’t have a lot to compare it to, but it seems awesome. I had a full face helmet from a Chinese company that said it was DOT and ECE certified, but I wasn’t sure if it was actually certified or if they had just slapped the stickers on it. LS2 is a more reputable brand, so I trust this a bit more. Put a $24 comms system on it and people on the phone can’t even tell I’m riding ... show more

Pulling the helmet out of the bag the rear air vent just fell off. Luckily it snapped into place so hopefully it just wasn’t in to begin with. The free pin lock is nice and the helmet is true to size. Internal sun visor does seem to vibrate itself down over time but not a huge deal yet.

I have used Nolan exclusively for 16 years, but they got progressively unable to ventilate properly. LS2 has that figured out, and has an excellent version of the helmet strap, like Nolan does. If you are still using the double d rings, climb out of the cave, and join us with electricity, running water and these helmet straps. This is the nicest helmet that I have ever owned. I have had a couple HJC’s and a couple non-name brand helmets (so I haven’t owned any top end helmets), but this this one is by far my favorite. It inspires confidence, it is light, it feels premium, and it feels safe! I can’t really ask for more than what this is. I would imagine that a $500 helmet is going to feel even better, but I am extremely happy with this one. I highly recommend this one. I was on the high end of a LG with 23 7/8 head, so I went with an XL. It was still a little snug, but it was broke in after one short ride. I would definitely buy again. ... show more

I always used LS2 helmet because of the low price and good construction, this one is a little more expensive than the average, but the construction is totally other thing, built is great noise reduction is better and the pin lock included was a plus. It fits well, there are more space in the ears area, no more pain when using headphones, the only downside that i found is a little pressure in the cheeks. ... show more
