Description

LS2 assaults the competition with the class-leading Assault Helmet. The Assault shell is constructed from LS2's Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA), a lightweight strong composite material, and is paired with a multi-density EPS liner into three shell sizes. The interior comfort liner uses a high-tech fabric that wicks moisture, dries quickly and is fully removable and washable. The comfort pads are pre-curved using LS2’s 3D laser technology for all-day comfort and no hot spots. Large, adjustable vents on the chin bar and at the top of the helmet work in conjunction with the rear spoiler and side venturi vents to offer adjustable, dynamic flow-through ventilation. The eye port is wide and houses an optically correct, Pinlock ready faceshield (lens insert sold separately). DOT approved. Meets the FMVSS 218 Standard, product also meets requirements imposed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB)

The helmet’s Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) shell feels incredibly lightweight yet durable, providing a strong sense of security while riding. The design is sleek and modern, especially in the brushed alloy finish, which looks even better in person. The comfort level is outstanding. The interior liner is soft, wicks moisture, and is fully removable and washable, making it easy to keep the helmet fresh after long rides. The adjustable vents on the chin bar and top offer fantastic ventilation, keeping the airflow dynamic and ensuring no hot spots during the ride. The media could not be loaded. I love the helmet, Ece certified makes me feel safe, drop down visor definitely helps for Sunny sunrises, sun blazing afternoons and shine bright sunsets. I ride daily and daily this helmet helps especially with the quick release, no struggle just pull and release it’s even easy with my gloves on. The vents give a lot of air so the face shield doesn’t fog up a lot and when it does it clears quickly. Great purchase for a great price, LS2 assault has a great build and great design with a great shape. Also super comfortable and a lot of padding with area for speakers if getting a cardo. Only thing I can say I do not like is the forehead padding has a default in stitching which leaves a line on your forehead but you don’t feel it you’ll see it tho, either way doesn’t matter to me because I always wear a motorcycle mask under my helmets.     • Swings way above its weight class!
Did tons of research looking for my first full-face helmet and ended up going with this LS2 Assault. Best combination of safety, price, style, and features out there. Includes all of my must-have's such as active chin and top vents (in other words, vents that you can open & close unlike a lot of the Simpson's,) retractable sun shade to eliminate the need for glasses when combined with the included clear visor, a pinlock ready visor, light weight, quick detach chin strap, and DOT & ECE approved. In addition to all that, it actually includes the pinlock shield! Plus, it has a unique KPA shell that is comprised of polymer mixed with aramid fibers which makes it both lightweight, flexible, and strong with penetration resistance too. Looks-wise to me it has that streetfighter style with the large flat chin and the aggressive brow vent lines similar in looks to the Simpson Outlaw & Speed Bandits. Lots of shell paint options including some wild graphics. I chose the Petra matte black/gray/graphite pattern, which just looks badazz and is different than all the plain matte blacks you see out there. This thing just oozes quality. My head is just over 60cm, which puts me just a hair over the Large size on the size chart. I'm glad I went with the XL because this thing fits my head perfectly. Yes, the cheekpads are very tight, but will loosen up after wearing it on a few rides. I am told that you definitely want to start out with tight cheek pads because they will conform to your face for a proper fit. So honestly I do not see what more you will get on a helmet costing hundreds more (Shoei, Arai, Schuberth, etc.,) because this LS2 has it all. And yes, it has the wrap around neck curtain and the flexible chin curtain, so it is about as quiet as a helmet can be with that nice seal. Lots of full-face helmet users complain about noise levels, which is just funny to me. You don't know noise unless you come from my world of no-helmet or half-helmet usage. I have found this LS2 to be a lot quieter. Anyway, good luck with your decision... ... show more

I picked the red chilli pepper matte helmet. It's a first for me and I used recommendations from friends who are veteran riders as well as a friend who does racing and has years experience, i used their guidance to pick the right fitting as they described "if it's able to fit my head but pushes my cheek into my brain it's good when new". The helmet style was a personal choice I really loved the red matte color of this but I honestly do not care for the graphic on it, would have loved it more if it was straight plain red matte color. The helmet for myself I picked medium based on measurements recommended for my head size which was 22.5". I love all the little vent features this helmet has as well as the included extra visor piece for anti fog, it has a fairly simple inner shade drop visor that is easily accessible from the side of the mask it was easy to drop or raise it when wearing gloves, the helmet comes with a kind of cheap but useful storage bag, easy to remove the visor if needed for replacing or other reasons one may need to remove it. It's an overall simple helmet I have yet to use and I tried to get as many pictures in for other to see any missed out details the product images doesn't provide. Some reviews mentioned it has space to add in a speaker or com inside but I was not able to check this out for sure but will update in future one I get a good use of this mask. UPDATE: after a month of use I can say this is a great helmet the vents work well enough that I can open them to get air flow into the helmet to keep cool as well as in high speed. The fitting is still snug but padding has broken in well enough to fit on comfortably unlike when I first would put it on. Really love this helmet I have customized the painting by adding my own graphics to it really love this helmet will be getting another one of these in their other colors. ... show more

Love love love! Fits amazing, I love that it has an easy pull instead of the ring to buckle. I don’t have feeling in my hands so it makes putting on the helmet super easy. Super comfy, all together great helmet!
