Description

LS2 assaults the competition with the class-leading Assault Helmet. The Assault shell is constructed from LS2's Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA), a lightweight strong composite material, and is paired with a multi-density EPS liner into three shell sizes. The interior comfort liner uses a high-tech fabric that wicks moisture, dries quickly and is fully removable and washable. The comfort pads are pre-curved using LS2’s 3D laser technology for all-day comfort and no hot spots. Large, adjustable vents on the chin bar and at the top of the helmet work in conjunction with the rear spoiler and side venturi vents to offer adjustable, dynamic flow-through ventilation. The eye port is wide and houses an optically correct, Pinlock ready faceshield (lens insert sold separately). DOT approved. Meets the FMVSS 218 Standard, product also meets requirements imposed by the California Air Resources Board (CARB)

I love this helmet so much! The airflow is good, and the visor adjustability is perfect for where I live. It can go from heavy overcast to ball of fire in the sky in the same ride. The ability to drop down the shaded visor as needed is perfect. I love the padding all around, even under the chin area! The quick release and secure chin strap is awesome, easily used with gloves on. I would say the only thing that caught me off guard with it was the top vents. Was riding into a pretty intense headwind yesterday and noticed the vents grabbing air and pulled my head back a little. Easy fix, tucked chin down a little and it was fine. Sizing is right on! Love love love! Fits amazing, I love that it has an easy pull instead of the ring to buckle. I don’t have feeling in my hands so it makes putting on the helmet super easy. Super comfy, all together great helmet!

The media could not be loaded. I love the helmet, Ece certified makes me feel safe, drop down visor definitely helps for Sunny sunrises, sun blazing afternoons and shine bright sunsets. I ride daily and daily this helmet helps especially with the quick release, no struggle just pull and release it’s even easy with my gloves on. The vents give a lot of air so the face shield doesn’t fog up a lot and when it does it clears quickly. Great purchase for a great price, LS2 assault has a great build and great design with a great shape. Also super comfortable and a lot of padding with area for speakers if getting a cardo. Only thing I can say I do not like is the forehead padding has a default in stitching which leaves a line on your forehead but you don’t feel it you’ll see it tho, either way doesn’t matter to me because I always wear a motorcycle mask under my helmets. Works well and looks good. Only issue for myself is the fit around the cheeks is almost uncomfortably tight. Noise depends on the way the air flows around the windscreen. The flip down sun visor works well.

By far the comfiest helmet I’ve purchased, it fits nice and snug, but not to tight, the airflow is amazing, and a lot of noise is blocked out when riding. I previously had the Agv k1 s and this one is by far 20x better, I highly recommend the LS2 ASSAULT!!!
