  • The best helmet I've owned.
Size: XX-Large Color: Gloss White
This is my first time owning an LS2 helmet, and I'm so glad that I switched brands. The Advant X is amazing. The flip-around chin bar is a game-changer. It moves so smoothly up and over to its position in back, providing unobstructed airflow to your face without making the helmet top-heavy or acting like a sail in the wind - you'll actually want to ride with the chin bar up, instead of only raising it at stops. At higher speeds with the chin bar down, this is a very quiet helmet, and it is noticeably lighter in weight than any previous helmet I've owned. It is also extremely comfortable! I know that is subjective, but for the shape of my head it fits like a glove. The materials they use for the padding is also super comfortable and very nice quality. The visor is wide and doesn't obstruct peripheral vision, but it will take some getting used to operating it from the top/middle instead of from the side like other helmets. Ventilation is really good even with the chin bar down - I can actually feel the airflow difference when I open or close the vents on top and in back. The chin vent flows more air than my previous helmets ever did. My only complaint is with the chin strap. I'm still not used to the ratcheting style (I've always used double D-ring style straps) which is difficult to line up the buckle blindly. The bigger issue is how short the straps are - even in the loosest position, the straps are too tight below my jaw. I've read others complaint about that too. As always, it's recommended to try the helmet on first before buying it. I spent more money on this helmet that I have for any prior helmet, but after trying it I fell in love with it - it's definitely worth spending the extra because of the huge jump up in quality. There's really no other helmet on the market like this one. You won't regret it. ... show more

  • The best modular helmet I have used so far!
Size: Large Color: Gloss White
LS2 Advent X Helmet — I have used several brands of modular helmets over many years and I have to say this is the absolute best fitting, most solid built and quietest helmet I have used so far. I’ve only got to wear it for two rides, about 300 miles so far, so I will update the review if my opinion changes. I love the way the front windscreen hugs the helmet as it rises up and down, so it does not catch the wind like a kite or parachute. Same goes for the chin bar going all the way to the rear. The forward view is excellent open or closed. I can definitely feel the air when the top vent is opened. The cheekpads were quite tight when I first put it on, but are much better after my two rides. However, by the design, the helmet is snug to put on your head. You will have to expand the chin wings a bit, especially if you wear glasses like I do. But it is no problem. I use a Cardo Pack Talk Bold and the installation was easy and the speakers fit the pockets like a glove. I am still getting used to the ratchet chin strap. It is very easy to release, but blindly securing the straps will take a little more practice to be quick at it. I think I will like this better than traditional loop rings once I do. Esthetically, I think this is a really great looking helmet! I got the white version which has a little metallic, almost pearlescent tone to it. It is really lightweight, especially for a modular, but the quality is as good or better than any other helmet I have owned. Including some really expensive name brands. Sizing, unless you are at the very bottom of the size range parameters, I would size up. I did and the helmet feels like it was made to fit my head. No other new helmet ever has felt this good from the start. You might gather from my review that I like this helmet. I do. A lot! Oh, and did I mention it was quiet?!! I may be an LS2 fan for life now! BTW-A side note, Real Time Industries/Black Hills Moto was the seller. One word to describe them, wonderful! PROMPT shipping and I had a very minor issue and they addressed it immediately without any hassle. I would definitely buy from them again. ... show more

  • Great Modular Helmet with Just a Bit of Road Noise
Size: Small Color: Gloss White
I bought the LS2 Advant X Modular Helmet for my girlfriend, and she really likes it! It fits well, feels comfortable, and has great features. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the road noise, but that’s pretty typical for modular helmets. Overall, it's a solid choice and she’s happy with it. ... show more

  • Perfect Helmet Perfect Helmet
Size: Large Color: Matte Black
I previously had a cheaper Sena helmet and before that a Walmart one. This has been an incredible upgrade that has enhanced the entire experience of riding a motorcycle. It's incredibly comfortable. The padding feels incredibly high quality, and it fits beautifully. I installed a sena sound system into mine and it had perfect speaker cutouts in the foam inside the helmet and also had velcro already installed for the speakers to mount into. Being able to flip the chin while riding around town and even sometimes on the highway lets so much air in but having the visor down keeps it out of your eyes. I highly recommend this helmet. I do want to add the sticker where I wanted to mount the sena came off in pieces and was incredibly annoying. Make better stickers. ... show more

  • Quality helmet
Size: Large Color: Gloss White
I just received the helmet this afternoon, 2-15-2025, and am impressed by the quality. I ordered the large size because I am between a medium and large. Fits great but a little snug as it should be. I shall go for a ride on Monday to test it out and I will then update this review. I will try to find the best bluetooth headset for this helmet. Update: I am returning this helmet only because of the chin strap rubbing against my Adam’s apple no matter what I try. The strap is too far back and,at least for me, should be moved closer to the front of the helmet. Oh well, I truly liked this helmet. Everything about it is top notch. I guess I’ll go back to my Schuberth C3 pro. Update August 1st 2025: I bought another LS2 Advant X because my wife said she may be able to help with the chin strap issue. After I unboxed it she examined it and found the chin strap padded cover was smooshed way down the strap so she moved it up,found the retaining snap to hold it in place and it fits great! Thanks to her I am super happy with this helmet and installed a Bluetooth speaker system in it. I highly recommend this LS2 Advant X helmet! Update 10-16-25: Excellent helmet and extremely happy with it! Update 11/2/25 I am still happy with this helmet. Air flow is good,it’s relatively quiet and since I live in southern Arizona a white helmet is a necessity for me. I highly recommend the LS2 Advant X. ... show more

  • Exactly what I have been looking for Exactly what I have been looking for
Size: X-Large Color: Matte Black
I finally found the helmet I've been looking for. I have some respiratory issues and have a problem getting enough air into a full face helmet when it is hot out or riding in slow traffic. I tried one modular helmet but with the chin bar in the open position, and moving more than 10 MPH, it whipped my head around too much. This helmet solves both issues - I can ride with the chin bar all the way back and out of the wind when riding slow and bring it down when I speed up. The air flow through the chin bar is plenty and the vent at the top of the helmet provides a welcome amount of air flow over the open face (and ventless) helmet I was using. I normally wear a large and (as others have stated in their reviews) this helmet runs small. Luckily I have a friend that bought a XL and I tried it on and it fits perfect. I was also able to install my Cardo intercom system with the 45mm JBL speakers - they fit tight but do fit. The helmet is quiet and comfortable. The only negative (as others have reported) is the left side chin strap is too short - makes closing the strap a bit of a struggle. Not a show stopper but takes a bit of getting used to. Overall - well spent money on a helmet that I will be using for a long time. ... show more

  • Very good build quality !
Size: Large Color: Gloss White
First off, this is only the 2nd Helmet I've purchased in 62 years, and the quality and enhancements and improvements are considerable !! Size wise these Helmets run on the small side, which I had read in a prior post. My head measured right at upper size of a Small Helmet so I ordered a Large and sure glad I did as I wouldn't want the fit to be any tighter but it's seems very comfortable ! Everything works very smoothly and it doesn't heavy at all and the fit seems to be good ! It also seems to have adequate sealing to prevent too much wind noise but no motorcycle yet to actually go for ride on yet. I'd say it's a very good value for the money !! ... show more

  • This is a huge helmet This is a huge helmet
Size: Medium Color: Matte Black
Darth Helmet anyone? Wow this helmet is massive. In comparison to my Simpson mod Bandit it’s about an inch to an inch and a half wider. I actually measured it and it is only 1/2” wider lol.. it seems really big though. Other than this it’s awesome. I like the chin bar rolling to the back of the helmet, but when you raise the chin bar the face shield automatically raises. And when you close the chin bar the face shield automatically raises again. The padding inside is amazingly soft and the helmet fits well. I like that the padding completely closes off the outside. There are no gaps around my neck for wind to get in. I wear a medium and it fit perfectly. I like the chin strap too. It looks great in picture but man I am not sure I can get over this big bug head look. I selected to return it for this reason but am second guessing that choice. Is it really a deal breaker for me? I like the back pack bag it comes with and that it comes with a dark shield too. Changing the face shield was fairly easily. Just a little push back switch on either side and the old one pops out and the new one pops in. Installing the pin lock shield was also fairly simple. I like the convenience of the chin bar all the way back so it won’t fall down when I’m at highway speed. I like the weight. It’s not a heavy helmet at all. I also like the easy to open vents in the chin bar and the top of the helmet. Positives out weigh the negative. ... show more
