LS2 Advent X Helmet — I have used several brands of modular helmets over many years and I have to say this is the absolute best fitting, most solid built and quietest helmet I have used so far. I’ve only got to wear it for two rides, about 300 miles so far, so I will update the review if my opinion changes. I love the way the front windscreen hugs the helmet as it rises up and down, so it does not catch the wind like a kite or parachute. Same goes for the chin bar going all the way to the rear. The forward view is excellent open or closed. I can definitely feel the air when the top vent is opened. The cheekpads were quite tight when I first put it on, but are much better after my two rides. However, by the design, the helmet is snug to put on your head. You will have to expand the chin wings a bit, especially if you wear glasses like I do. But it is no problem. I use a Cardo Pack Talk Bold and the installation was easy and the speakers fit the pockets like a glove. I am still getting used to the ratchet chin strap. It is very easy to release, but blindly securing the straps will take a little more practice to be quick at it. I think I will like this better than traditional loop rings once I do. Esthetically, I think this is a really great looking helmet! I got the white version which has a little metallic, almost pearlescent tone to it. It is really lightweight, especially for a modular, but the quality is as good or better than any other helmet I have owned. Including some really expensive name brands. Sizing, unless you are at the very bottom of the size range parameters, I would size up. I did and the helmet feels like it was made to fit my head. No other new helmet ever has felt this good from the start. You might gather from my review that I like this helmet. I do. A lot! Oh, and did I mention it was quiet?!! I may be an LS2 fan for life now! BTW-A side note, Real Time Industries/Black Hills Moto was the seller. One word to describe them, wonderful! PROMPT shipping and I had a very minor issue and they addressed it immediately without any hassle. I would definitely buy from them again.

You get what you pay for! It felt tight at first but after a few days it fits much more comfortable. The flip back chin guard is so good while at slow speeds to keep you cool, then flip it back down for higher speed rides for safety. The built in sun shade is so convenient and very handy!

Darth Helmet anyone? Wow this helmet is massive. In comparison to my Simpson mod Bandit it’s about an inch to an inch and a half wider. I actually measured it and it is only 1/2” wider lol.. it seems really big though. Other than this it’s awesome. I like the chin bar rolling to the back of the helmet, but when you raise the chin bar the face shield automatically raises. And when you close the chin bar the face shield automatically raises again. The padding inside is amazingly soft and the helmet fits well. I like that the padding completely closes off the outside. There are no gaps around my neck for wind to get in. I wear a medium and it fit perfectly. I like the chin strap too. It looks great in picture but man I am not sure I can get over this big bug head look. I selected to return it for this reason but am second guessing that choice. Is it really a deal breaker for me? I like the back pack bag it comes with and that it comes with a dark shield too. Changing the face shield was fairly easily. Just a little push back switch on either side and the old one pops out and the new one pops in. Installing the pin lock shield was also fairly simple. I like the convenience of the chin bar all the way back so it won’t fall down when I’m at highway speed. I like the weight. It’s not a heavy helmet at all. I also like the easy to open vents in the chin bar and the top of the helmet. Positives out weigh the negative.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. Fits perfect. You do need to wear the helmet to break it in. Very well packaged and arrived on time. Best modular helmet out there. This is my second LS2 to buy.

I choose the LS2 after many reviews. I ordered the helmet and received it in two days. The helmet was as described and exceded my expectations. The fit and finish is excelent. The helmet came with a pin lock and dark shield. I was surprised a helmet back pack was included. Great buying experience.

I like the LS2 Advant X helmet. It provides the choice to be 3/4 or full face and the chin bar goes all the way back. I am a new rider and liked that they were ECE 22.06 certified which is better than just DOT. I do not find them to be heavy. Moving chin bar up makes it easier to take the helmet off. It was easy to install the pinlock screen. Have used it for over a weeks so will update after some more usage.
