I wasn't a helmet person but I went with a modular and this one checks all the boxes. First thing is the DOT and ECE 2206 rated. The 180 degree chin guard is great. The top gun inside visor is placed right and works well. I wish it was a little darker. The outer shield pulls down fine but there is no tab to push it up. I was looking at other helmets in the higher $200's lower $300's but after I figured out the Noir came with another outer shield that's smoked and the pinlock shield it made this one a no brainer for the money. My noggin measured 24" so I got the 2X but I think if I had even a bit bigger head I'd go up a size. The sizing chart is pretty close but they might run just a tick small. Overall it's comfortable to wear. I do feel a little extra pressure on my cheeks with the chin guard down but nothing extreme. I don't get a lot of wind noise from inside but if the wind hits it just right you get some turbulence noise. I suspect that is common. It seems light enough that I haven't got any neck aches with it yet. Very pleased with it. ... show more

Excellent Product! Before you buy, make sure you try one on 1st. I wear a XL but these run a size small and had to move up to a XXL. That being said, great fit and top notch product for sure! Shipping was fast and easy. Great value for the money!

I bought this helmet because I wanted something more robust in terms of head protection. It’s obviously not a cheap helmet, but safety comes at a price. I ordered a size Large, following the measurement instructions, and it fit quite tight. After several months of use, it still feels snug, and on long rides, I sometimes get mild headaches from the pressure. On the positive side, the padding feels very comfortable, and the sound from my intercom system comes through clearly. The colors are vibrant and eye-catching, and overall the helmet feels high quality. The internal sun visor mechanism occasionally sticks, it doesn’t always slide down smoothly, as if it gets slightly misaligned, but it hasn’t broken. The Pinlock system works perfectly, which is a huge plus in a humid country like Panama. Would I buy it again? Yes, absolutely. But next time, I’d probably order one size larger or adjust with smaller pads to avoid the tight fit around my head. ... show more

The value of a modular helmet such as this will benefit many. The ability to roll back the chin visor to a rideable position allows for a working three-quarters helmet. The optical clarity of both the visor and internal sunshield is significant and noticeably good when compared to other helmets. No hotspots. Decent ventilation. Comfortable. Handsome. This is an awesome modular helmet. It is very well built, has really nice features with the chin bar going behind the head and the optional tinted visor. It was really easy to install my cardo Bluetooth system and has nice cutouts for the speakers. It also has nice airflow with its vents, but I often ride using it as a 3/4 helmet when it gets hot. Excellent value for your money and I would recommend to anyone, just know that they tend to run small so check your sizing. ... show more

This is the second LS2 convertible that I have purchased in the last 3 years. One that I wore for 3 years I sold to one of my club Brothers as it was still in good shape. I lost a lot of weight and decided to get a smaller helmet. The helmet is excellent in every way imaginable.

After putting 100 miles on this helmet, I can confidently say it’s a solid choice for riders looking for comfort, protection, and good overall features at a reasonable price. Fit & Comfort: The fit is quite good, though I’d note that the shape leans more towards a round profile rather than a long-oval. If you typically wear long-oval helmets, this might feel a little snug on the top of my forehead. That said, once adjusted properly, it sits comfortably without pressure points, and I had no issues with fatigue after extended rides. Features & Performance: Ventilation: The airflow is decent, helping to keep things cool even on warmer days. Visor & Visibility: The visor mechanism works smoothly, and visibility is excellent, giving a wide field of view without obstruction. Noise Levels: As with most helmets in this price range, there is some wind noise at higher speeds, but it’s nothing excessive or unbearable. Overall Verdict: For the price, this helmet offers a great balance of comfort, protection, and practical features. No complaints, Functions well. The visor does not really lock in anywhere other than full open, or closed. I will come back an update after a few months of use. Is comfortable, The CArdo KTM edge was an easy install. The chin strap will get a little getting used to. But was easy enough once I adjusted it well. NOTE* The sizeing shown on Amazon, is not the same as on the LS2 website. I went with the size chart on amazon. 22.5, large. Which fits me well, is just a touch "tight" but will be perfect after a few rides. ... show more
