I wasn't a helmet person but I went with a modular and this one checks all the boxes. First thing is the DOT and ECE 2206 rated. The 180 degree chin guard is great. The top gun inside visor is placed right and works well. I wish it was a little darker. The outer shield pulls down fine but there is no tab to push it up. I was looking at other helmets in the higher $200's lower $300's but after I figured out the Noir came with another outer shield that's smoked and the pinlock shield it made this one a no brainer for the money. My noggin measured 24" so I got the 2X but I think if I had even a bit bigger head I'd go up a size. The sizing chart is pretty close but they might run just a tick small. Overall it's comfortable to wear. I do feel a little extra pressure on my cheeks with the chin guard down but nothing extreme. I don't get a lot of wind noise from inside but if the wind hits it just right you get some turbulence noise. I suspect that is common. It seems light enough that I haven't got any neck aches with it yet. Very pleased with it.

After putting 100 miles on this helmet, I can confidently say it’s a solid choice for riders looking for comfort, protection, and good overall features at a reasonable price. Fit & Comfort: The fit is quite good, though I’d note that the shape leans more towards a round profile rather than a long-oval. If you typically wear long-oval helmets, this might feel a little snug on the top of my forehead. That said, once adjusted properly, it sits comfortably without pressure points, and I had no issues with fatigue after extended rides. Features & Performance: Ventilation: The airflow is decent, helping to keep things cool even on warmer days. Visor & Visibility: The visor mechanism works smoothly, and visibility is excellent, giving a wide field of view without obstruction. Noise Levels: As with most helmets in this price range, there is some wind noise at higher speeds, but it’s nothing excessive or unbearable. Overall Verdict: For the price, this helmet offers a great balance of comfort, protection, and practical features. If your head shape leans more toward round rather than long-oval, it should be a great fit. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality helmet without breaking the bank. Would I buy it again? Absolutely.

The helmet does not have LS24x installed as stated on the box. (For the price I’d have been shocked if it did). While installing Cardo, I saw the size was X-Large, not the 2X I ordered, but it fits (I wear a 7 5/8” Stetson if that helps anyone). The first couple of times I put the helmet on, the chin bar would not lock into place. A few squirts of WD-40 resolved that. So much for the negative. The helmet is awesome! Great vision and love all the options it provides. Much better vision than I expected. The company was great! Communicated the entire time and even offered to send me an exchange label. I definitely would recommend if you’re looking for your 1st modular helmet at a decent price point.

I really like this helmet, it is very comfortable, and I like the way it operates. Having the chin guard swivel all the way back so it doesn't catch the wind is a fantastic feature. I was reluctant to purchase a helmet online that I could not try on, but I read all the reviews across the web, and they were correct. These helmets run small so get the next size up. My old helmet was a 2X this one I ordered was a 3X and it fit great. This helmet has a much better venting system than my old helmet, so when you do use the chin guard down and the visor down it doesn't seem to fog up badly like my old helmet did. I would purchase this helmet again. I'm very happy I got it.

I bought this helmet with some reservations, but after just taking it for a ride I really like it. First of all, I ride a a Triumph Rocket 3 GT with a Madstad Windshield providing minimal to slightly moderate wind protection. I have quite a bit of wind around my head. This should indicate where I am coming from with regard to quite. I found the helmet to be relatively quite, by my standards, with both the chin bar down or up and with the windscreen down or up as well. As for size, I originally tried a full face helmet by Shoei in both large and extra large, but the XL was too loose and the large too tight being impossible to get on and off without ripping my ears off. I decided to try the LS2 modular helmet so the chin bar would be out of the way getting the helmet on and off. a good choice as that appears to work for my wider sized head. I was able to stayed with size large, (which I measure on the chart), as I didn't want to get into the XL shell making my head size look ridiculous. Spaceballs I say! I chose the Advant over the Advant-X because the Advant shape is a little more round and more in keeping with my old Schubert M1 which fits. I guess I have a wide head, so I thought the Advant X might be a issue. The fit is good and will be a little better after a break in period. I now have the best of both worlds for my riding style... open face or full face. The chin bar on the back side of the helmet is a great feature, not sticking up, as I prefer to ride open face style with just the shield down most of the time. The chin bar action is very smooth and easy to perform on a ride. The large viewing area of the shield is way better than most full face helmet...another plus. All in all a good choice for me...I hope this helps someone with their choice.

Bought this last summer. It fits really well. Replaced a Shoei Neotech 2. Neotech 3 did not fit well. This helmet has a high rating in Europe scale as well as in USA. I had been looking for a new helmet and had tried one of these at a friend's house in Wales. I have a Sena 60 on it. I have ridden a few trips in it, so far, it is comfortable on all day rides. I would suggest trying one on before ordering. But, I am very happy so far. I do wear artists ear plugs, but it is as quite or a tick more so than my 5 year old Neotech 2. I recommend.

Do not buy this if your head is below XL, or possibly even 2XL. I wear an M and the shell is clearly one-size-attempts-to-fit-all. This shell size causes obstructed and difficult neck movement and the strap to be wind-pipe-crushingly far backward, making this in my opinion extremely dangerous, and further causes it to be unjustifiably heavy. The overbuilt interior liner constantly pops out, and it fits too tightly for size. The interior sun visor fogs up before it even comes down because airflow is garbage, and to reiterate, airflow is horrendous. Wind noise is horrific at a piddling 45-50mph, and at those speeds on an M-wearing rider of about 120lbs, turning your head will steer the entire machine by your neck because the aerodynamics of it also suck. Build quality is decent for price; that is the only deserved "praise," because "decent" is in this case an innuendo for "not extra-mortifying." Again, the liner doesn't stay put when you're just trying to put the thing on. I hate this unconscionably garbage piece of landfill with a flaming passion. Oh, and the flip-up feature is so stupid looking and unhelpful I have no adequate description. The only reason you might need it is because the thing is vented like a solitary confinement cell. Unless you want to wear a hollowed-out lead kettlebell that feels like its only mission is to compress your neck before you even get on the bike, buy AGV or another big brand. This is a ridiculous product.
