  • Short is burning a fuse
6 months later is popping a #60 fuse and won’t turn on, not recommended

  • the negative reviews are true junk
The first pump arrived and the airline fittings popped right out was not usable. They did an exchange and the second pump came I installed and it seemed to be a bit weak and noisy, but it was working fast-forward 4 1/2 months just like every other review says the pump stopped working it is overheating and barely putting out air, I contacted the company about the warranty. They want me to take the pump out and take pictures of the pump and the numbers and pictures of the fault code on the vehicle. This is not a very convenient solution for a warranty after not even six months. I am not going to remove the pump until I rebuild my stock pump as in the pump does slowly work to add air but overheats after about two minutes of running. I even tried removing the airline that feeds the tank and the pump barely pushes any air out. This was definitely an internal failure, like everyone else says. ... show more

  • OEM fit, low price, does what it’s supposed to do
Had “air pressure rising slowly” code on my 2009 LR3, replaced stock Hitwchi compressor with this one. Was a little apprehensive of the low price at first, but the unit looks exactly like the unit bein replaced, except it doesn’t have a LandRovee logo. Air pressure rises fast, noise level is the same as the stock compressor, and the air suspension code I had before has not come up so far (our about 400miles on the car since the replacement). Have nothing to complain about so far, and he price is amazing. Will try to remember to update this review after a year. ... show more

  • Identical to the old one, except that this one works!
I have a 2006 Range Rover Land Rover Sport HSE, 4.4L V8. When the ambient temperature was over 100F, the air compressor would stop working and faults were triggered. The faults would alternate between yellow and red. The compressor couldn't keep up with the demand, overheated and then shut off, causing lots of issues while driving. The replacement took about 20 minutes. Tools needed are a ratchet, long extension, and 10mm socket. The air lines on the old one were a bit difficult to remove because they are 18 years old. Eventually they popped off. The new compressor fit perfectly, and everything lined up. It has been two days since I replaced the compressor and no more faults. Ride heights adjust from off-road to access quickly and with no problems. The old one had 140,000 miles on it. I hope this one will last just as long. ... show more

  • Not Working after 4 months, asking for replacement. But they did honor the warranty.
Installed it, ran OK for a short bit. Started getting fault codes again after a week. Got worse and worse and now it doesn't work. Pressure test 0 PSI. This supplier says it has a 2 year warranty, but after reading other reviews I have a feeling getting them to replace it will be difficult. I hope they prove me wrong. Asking them to replace mid April 2019, lets see what happens. Will update review if replaced or if left hanging. Update 4/19/19: the company replied within hours asking for more details, photos, video and serial number. I just sent them more details and a photo of the serial number. Will update as this progresses. Update 4/24/19 After a few emails back and forth, the company has been very responsive. At their suggestion I ordered another pump from them to speed up the process after they would refund the new one to cover the warranty. I have the new pump, They design is better, the build is better, quieter, more powerful. So far so good. So from one star to 4 stars. If anything changes I will update here, but so far I am impressed with the company. ... show more

  • Noisy and Faults after 4 months
8/7/2019: Purchased this compressor in March 2019 and after only 4 months of use it is already a problem. Started getting louder in the past week and yesterday it sounded like a box of marbles and faulted for low output. Had my local LR shop reset the system a few times with no change. Keeps faulting. Compressor shakes heavy and sounds awful. The shop said its garbage and needs a new one installed. Cannot drive my truck now. Sent an email to the seller asking for a warranty replacement or refund. Will update this review with results. 8/11/2019 sent another email asking for a replacement or refund. 8/16/19 Have yet to hear back from the seller/manufacture about my issue. Sent the 3rd email today asking for a replacement or refund. Gave them scan info showing low output fault. 10/9/19 still no help or response from the seller about a warranty replacement.. • Pleasantly Surprised
Direct Fit, easy to install. I had to saw one of my lines and bought the quick connect parts from home depot (white part in pic). Quieter than my OEM compressor and is working great so far!
