I purchased this set as I was looking for a cheap, introductory electric to practice on. I'll begin by saying that I'm no musician by any stretch. That said, I found the initial tuning to be pretty difficult, but once it was tuned it takes very little adjustment before each practice. I'm guessing this is because they ship the strings to be fairly loose, then the neck is bowed a little with each tightening. Again, not a musician, so I could be completely off base. The amp could be a little more clear, but it's not bad at all. I really like the look of the guitar. I got the grey one, and it looks just as it does in the pictures. All in all, I think this is a great value for a beginner, like me, who isn't certain just how much they're going to take to the guitar. If that's you, then you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful looking BUT... Loose in the box. See photos.... Unbelievable, steel strings on a broken plastic bridge. Haven't checked the other chrome pieces with a magnet yet. A lot of white powder under the switch plate, some in the control box and even a little in the empty guitar case/bag. Hope it's nontoxic. The control box cover sits below the surface of the guitar (not flush) and was a little too big. They screwed it down in tight and I popped up an edge using a nail in one of the screw holes. Then got under the gap and popped the cover off. When it came off so did a chunk of the red finish because the cover was in there that tight. I'll touch up the red where the finish came off and the chip above the tuners. Most likely replace all the chrome parts, humbuckers, pots and strings. Some of the metal frets are shorter than others too. Yeah, they need filed and polished. Haven't done a setup yet. I kept it because it doesn't cost much more than an unfinished kit and you get the other items too. I might post a YouTube videos with closeups on this and some other Amazon purchases. ALWAYS open pictures in a new tab, window or whatever. Funny how my pictures just got smaller on Amazon.....

Came in and turned right around and started a return. Neck is broken. Fret boards coming apart the box was beat the head of the guitar was through the box. I have other guitars so I tried the amp and you’re better off not having it even if you have an electric. All together it’s a fail. Nothing is nice. Not a single piece of this guitar kit. Just don’t buy it. I did pull the gig bag out put the guitar in it so it has some form of protection. It was literally bouncing around in the box.

It's absolutely gorgeous and I know it's shippings fault but there was a switch snapped off and strings were broken when I opened it the box also looked beaten to hell otherwise again shippings fault but none the less it's amazing.

Once it was tuned, it was perfect. The strap is small so maybe buy a different one (I got the D'Addario Accessories Leather Guitar Strap and it's very nice). I also bought a box of picks since, well, you need them. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Very nicely done, I think I'm done looking for a cheap electric guitar, this guitar feels amazing, and it's not a hard maple fretboard it's a really nice wood! You will love this guitar!

Nice guitar project. You definitely get what you pay for. I had to do a complete fret job because of the sprouted frets. Ouch! It is a beautiful color and good beginner guitar.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: because of decent reviews which they must have gotten lucky this is junk 3 of the tuners are so loose you cant even tune ut proper toggle switch is loose and spins in circles amp half the knobs barely turn feels like your going to break them
