We have never had an inside dog. We now have a yorkie and no way of getting her outside fast enough for her to potty. I put a washable pee pad down and a thick rubber mat on top of that with this grass. She was so quick to potty train with this grass. I wish we would have done this first. We tried the pee pads first and she tore them up. This product is wonderful! Please make sure that you put something under it though because urine will go through the grass. I take it outside once a week and spray with the garden hose than hang it over the porch rail to dry. It takes about an hour to dry if not sooner. ... show more

Within 5 minutes of opening my dog just walked over and started using it, no coaxing or anything just started sniffing around cocked over and started doing his thing. That being said it isn’t an end all you will definitely have to still inspire your dog to use it. Otherwise I gave it that rating because of the grass quality I just felt it could be a little more realistic due to it being used inside the home. On a very positive note it is very easy to clean and remove feces and such. I believe this to be a perfectly good product as long as your patient with your animal, thank you. ... show more

My puppy is easily distracted on walks and forgets to use the bathroom. We've been using this to train him on our deck where it's less stimulating to him. He took to it right away. I rinse it at night and hang it to dry by the morning. We're using this as a temporary thing but I could see it getting gross after a time. The only thing is its smaller than it appears on the photos they used. Like no way is it bigger than a golden retriever. But otherwise I'm happy. ... show more

aging by the picture we were expecting at least an inch thick and it is probably 3/8” thick. Looks like it will cut to size easy enough. Only wish it was thicker like pictured.

My little Silky Terrier puppy was so confused about housebreaking. The constant rain and frozen ground in the morning made going out to potty so unpleasant for her. She saw the plants in the yard as irresistible play things, which lead to both of us being frustrated. I put the generously sized artificial grass on the patio away from distractions and at the end of the first day she was going potty on the artificial gras where she should. It is easy to rinse with the hose and drip dries in a short time. I wish I had seen this before I got my puppy it would have save so much time and frustration.
