We used this matt on our deck to get our puppies started with potty training and it is working great. They now use it almost 100% of the time so we will soon be moving it to the lawn. We have never had an inside dog. We now have a yorkie and no way of getting her outside fast enough for her to potty. I put a washable pee pad down and a thick rubber mat on top of that with this grass. She was so quick to potty train with this grass. I wish we would have done this first. We tried the pee pads first and she tore them up. This product is wonderful! Please make sure that you put something under it though because urine will go through the grass. I take it outside once a week and spray with the garden hose than hang it over the porch rail to dry. It takes about an hour to dry if not sooner. ... show more

    • Don’t think it will solve all of your problems.
Within 5 minutes of opening my dog just walked over and started using it, no coaxing or anything just started sniffing around cocked over and started doing his thing. That being said it isn’t an end all you will definitely have to still inspire your dog to use it. Otherwise I gave it that rating because of the grass quality I just felt it could be a little more realistic due to it being used inside the home. On a very positive note it is very easy to clean and remove feces and such. I believe this to be a perfectly good product as long as your patient with your animal, thank you. ... show more

    • Perfect for boat life!
Since we can't always get to land when pup needs to potty, this is the perfect solution! It took a few days to really start using it (and not missing it) but she uses it like a champ now! It rinses easily. We read recommendations to put large grommets on either side of one edge in order to put a rope thru it for easily over the side rinsing, but we haven't done that yet. Be sure to give treats after pull used properly in order to provide positive reinforcement! She loves using it now 🤣 ... show more

This was a pretty cool product I like the feel Of the fake grass and so do my dogs. I’ve been using it as a pee pad for my six dogs and wanted to order another one for my back door when they run inside and out but we’ll get that on a deal. Thanks again I recommend it but it will definitely need a peepad or pee tray underneath ... show more

I purchased this for my potty trained dog after a shoulder fracture and surgery. We're on a second floor apartment with very steep stairs, and she was at the time a 6 month old, 65lb Rottweiler so carrying was not an option for me! Now she's at 9 months, 95lbs and still using her pee pad - works great! We just rinse it in the shower and scrub with pet odor carpet cleaner periodically to keep the smell away. ... show more

This is good for snowy or rainy days. If you are on a tight budget because pee pads can get costly with a medium or large size dog, I highly recommend this to you. After you dispose of your pets feces accordingly, this can be hosed off in the backyard or rinsed off in the shower. This is also good for those that live in the West Coast where temperatures get really high and home owners don’t have grass in their lawn. Your pet can lay on it as well instead off on the hot pavement. One of my dogs likes to just lay on it and scratch on it like a cat. He rolls on it to scratch himself because of the course texture.
