I purchased two 60v 2800w motors and I am very pleased. My top speed with my old motors was 44mph. So far my top speed is 50mph now. I do have to tighten some things up on the scooter because it is so fast now it is shaking too much or I believe I could go faster. The only negative comment is that the motor wire and the disk brakes are on the same side. If you were to change that it would make things much easier. Other than that I am very pleased.

I’ve bought two of these motors now. The first was over a year ago and more recently in January. At first I ordered one just to see if they were any good, I installed it as the back wheel motor on a scooter I built and I was impressed! I got 50miles per hour out of it with a 100A ESC connected to a 20S (72v) battery. At the beginning of the year (2023) I got ahold of a frame with no electronics or motors which I saw would be compatible with a dual motor setup. I IMMEDIATELY ordered another one of these motors, hooked it up to a dual ESC with 100A per motor and a new 20s10P battery. Oh my gosh… working in tandem these motors provide utterly ridiculous power and a top speed of 64miles per hour (I actually got up to 70mph with a bit of down hill help). I can’t stress enough how amazing these motors are. Seriously, stop reading now, add it to your cart and check out. Delivery was quick and painless and all the parts were included (bolts, torque washers etc) Based on how happy I was with them I’ve also bought the 52v version this week, I’ll be added a review for that later, but initial impressions are: wow more love for these motors too! Now for a few notes: the 60v versions of these wheels are BIG both wide and with a suitable tire tall. You might find they are too big for your scooter and you simply can’t get the wheel into the forks. I’ve fitted both 110/50-6.5 and 90/65-6.5 road and 100/65-6.5 off road tires to these motors (the 60v ones) and they all fit well. And BE CAREFUL fitting the tire/inner tube it’s easy to catch the inner tube between the two sections then the tire can randomly pop mid ride when it gets too hot. Seriously if you’ve read this far I’ll remind you to just buy it!!

I almost sent these back because the motor wires were on the wrong side. I didn't want to add tires and assemble them if I they wouldn't work on my scooter. I decided to bite the bullet and see if I could make them fit. Lucky the wires cleared the brakes and let me tell you these things are AWESOME!! They are powerful almost to powerful. I have to lean over the front just to keep traction! I put them on my scooter and went from 35mph to 45+ with the same battery and the same cheap stock 60v 40a j&p controllers. I have sine wave controllers I am going to install next and they will probably be faster and smoother. Soooo glad I decided to try them!! Still pumped up from my ride!!

Unfortunately, the axle width was too wide at 135mm and my scooter would only accept 120mm max. I'm looking at solutions and did buy their 10" 1000w motor for another scooter that I wanted to add power to. Depending on tire brand, CST 90 65 6.5 will give you an overall diameter of 10.5" at 45psi, 110 50 6.5 goes to 11.5" at 45 psi. Middle tire was taller than the rest. The motor that arrived did not have "Roadrunner" on it. One side had the serial number, while other was blank. Appeared to be fairly high quality. Verified fitment of all of the tires in the pic. Overall the quality is good, the shipping box could have been better but acceptable.

Had to replace my dual motor electric scooter hub motors with 11 inch wheels. The default ones went out pretty quickly despite being a 2k electric scooter. The old motors in separating from the wheel was like pulling hens teeth, these come in two pieces where it fits into the tire and the other side fits right in, just use the provided Allen wrench screws. Pro tip if you have tubeless tires get tubes for them, this makes it much easier to keep the tire on, slime or equivalent is ok but is not needed and just creates a huge mess.

Update. I bought 2 of these in April 2022 and I'm still happy with my purchase. Infact these exceeded my expectations and still work as good as the day is got them. I've had them up to 64mph and maybe could have went faster. They are smooth riding when matched with the right controller and fitted with a good set of tires. These are no joke! If you up want speed and torque these are it.....

For anyone wondering the ACTUAL RIM SIZE, it is 6.5". 110/50-6.5 tire fits perfectly and will have an overall TIRE diameter of ~11".
