Perfect little cooler for Acer Aspire TC-1785! The Intel i5 1440 stays at 55c to 60c @ 100% usage and Idles around 35c to 38c. not bad at all than the stock baby cooler that it came with. Overall great price and Happy customer!!!

Cools worse then the Big Shuriken 3 i was trying to replace. was 87C before now even after remounting a half dozen times its still 100C on a 14600k undervolted and power limited to 150w

This cooler works great only downside is the fan has a low h20 rating but that doesn’t mean you can’t swap out the fan for like an arctic p12 max. Once you do that, this thing performs almost as good as an aio ! I use a 7800X3D on games like cyberpunk, forza horizon 5, black ops 6 and F1 with temps hitting under 70c average. As long as you swap the fan for something with an h20 rating of 2.0 or higher you’ll be smooth sailing with thing puppy.

This thing kicks @ss! The thermalright 120 low profile equivalent is the same price and you get 8 heatpipes with this vs 6 on the thermalright. it is a little taller than the thermalright, but I made it fit in my MITX case by not securing a fan, I mounted the fan on the door of the case directly over the CPU cooler and it cleared fine and works great! Using the new 2K rpm skythe slim wonder tornado fan with it and cpu temps went from 65C under load to 47C using prime95 torture test and Superpi 32M runs. It Idles around 35c - I5 13400 - best $30 ever spent! I have several golden cups on HWbot.org on extremecooling and have been extremeoverclocking since 2001. If you do not know what Winbond bh5 is then disregard.

Fit perfectly in my wife's HP gaming pavilion TG01 desktop PC. Like others have mentioned the included fan design/specs isn't optimal so I swapped it for an Arctic P12 Pro Fan (a proper static pressure fan). I set up a some Curves using FanControl and I have zero complaints. Note for my setup 1155x mount I had to use the bracket from 1 of the included bags and the screws from another bag labeled intel.

The included thermal paste is junk. It disintegrates in your hand. I use my own bulk thermal paste. 32–35°C idle for Ryzen 5800X. Ramps up and back down quickly under Linux.

Overall it works very well for me. I use it on i7-13700 based PC. With the original CPU cooler a compilation of a custom Linux in a 10-core virtual machine caused the CPU temperature immediately to jump up to 85 deg C, so I had to kill the process and limit the virtual machine to 1 CPU core with max temperature ended at 75 deg C. With this CPU cooler the same process in the 10-core virtual machine did not rise the CPU temperature above 66 deg C.
