I like the product. I was looking for a non monomor smell product that does not stay for more than one day in my house. This monomor smells a little bit like radish but the smell is not super strong. Kinda like nail polish. As soon as its dry the smell is gone, what I really like and wanted. I only gave 4 stars because clear and white get a little bit yellow. It takes around 5 min to completely dry and than you should hold it under warm water to remove the sticky layer. other than that i love the product and will buy it again.☺️

First of all, the chemical odor this stuff has is incredibly potent and lasted hours after doing my nails (on only ONE hand, because the stuff took so long to set), even through a shower. After realizing that this set of nails was going to take literal HOURS because it wouldn't harden, I decided there was no way I was even going to start using this stuff on my other hand. When I ordered slow setting monomer, I didn't think it was going to take 40+ minutes to harden and be ready for filing. And it also had a weird residue that stayed tacky on my nails and left everything else I touched slimy/sticky. So after painstakingly finishing one hand, I threw this in the trash and got some cheap monomer from Sally Beauty Supply to do my other hand. Sally Beauty brand was 10/10, don't waste your time with this stinky blue Amazon liquid.

This has almsot no scent that is super detectable. After let’s say 20 minutes of having it out, it will fill the room with a slight smell but it’s nothing like the monomer that you usually would use. That being said it is much more of a wet, thick texture, not in the sense of the actual liquid but when you are using it to pick up a bead, the bead is going to be a lot more wet so you’re just going to need less. with everyone saying that it took a really long time to dry I would say it probably didn’t take more than 5 to 10 minutes but that’s just me checking it after that time so it could be earlier. The thing with odorless monomers is that they have this kind of sticky film over the top and to get rid of it I just used some acetone and a random makeup brush. That’s what everyone was thinking was the still wet acrylic. It is a bit hard to deal with me being a newbie just because even if you pick up a little bit, it’s still makes a super wet bead and it kind of completely flooded my cuticles and made a big mess but I’m sure with some practice it’ll be fine.

Quite a few reviews mention that it does not dry. It actually does dry, but it leaves a gooey film over the nail. Once that layer is removed with filing, what is left is just like you would get from a traditional monomer. If you want a slower drying product giving you more time to shape and work, this is the monomer you want to use

I love doing my nails - I’ve gotten into dip powder, builder gel, polygel, and rubber base…but tried acrylic a few times and couldn’t figure it out as well as hating the strong smell. Decided to try this out after watching some tutorials and totally recommend it. Still takes a few tries to get the hang of it, but now that I’ve got it - I really like it! And can hardly notice a smell at all! I’ve found it easiest to have my finger tilted downward, put a bead kinda towards the cuticle, push gently into the cuticle area, and let gravity do most of the rest by having the bead slowly make its way down your nail tip with a little guidance.

I found no short cut in my learning curve improve my acrylic nail creations. This product created more time needed and more mess to clean up. Perhaps this could be helpful to those uncomfortable with the time constraints that are part of the standard monomer liquids. It was the sticky/gooeynees and overall messy top coat to be too much for me to over come.

This monomer is super easy to work with. It takes some time to learn correctly how to use but once you get the hang of it this stuff works great! I would suggest to use with mia secret acrylic powder as I found works better together. Will buy again.

I absolutely love this product! I’m new to acrylic and have always used polygel. I was struggling to finish an acrylic nail before product would dry,so the slow cure on this is a game changer. It doesn’t require as much monomer on your brush as well,so it should last longer. It does have a smell,but it’s more of a strong gel polish smell. I have also noticed yellowing. Not the best for clear or light colors. Overall I love this! Mine was dry within 3 minutes. It will leave a sticky layer that needs to be filed off and it tends to make it feel wet when it’s actually not.
